Due to COVID and refurbishment it took us a while to get into the church. But well worth the effort. Lovely historic church in a lovely spot. The graveyard is also beautiful and tranquil.

Beautiful village with an exceptionally beautiful church. First Deacon for St. Peter's was 1103. Most of the remarkable stained glass windows are by renowned artist, Charles Eamer Kempe (1837-1907). As an added bonus, there are the Traquair Murals to view and enjoy. It is well worth a visit. Highly recommend.

Fantastic place, lovely church dating from the 1220s with perfect murals from 1904-05 and lots of details about them in a detailed display. There are also lovely stained glass windows too.
