Where do I start with this pub. The building looks as retired as the people who reside themelves in this pub. However the atmosphere reminded me of a brilliant match day in the Premier league, but I watched on as a huge big ginger brute shags a bird while drinking a pint of some sort of alcoholic beverage. This man was shirtless whipping a Colchester fan with his Southend shirt. The people of the pub would also watch on in disgrace as the brute would violate the sanctuary of the pub and more. That disregard of any social responsibility is in my opinion diobolical, and the devious fella should sort himself out when he finds himself outside of a life behind bars, the inconsiderate swine.

ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!! I FELT BLOODY SICK AFTER THE FOOD IVE JUST CONSUMED, ABSOLUTELY ABYSMAL AND DISGUSTING. JUST GOT HUNG UP ON BY THE BLUE BOAR PUB, ME BLOODY LIFE IS OVER. THE FLOORBOARDS ARE BROKEN, THE LIGHTS DONT EVEN BLOODY WORK, WASTE OF ME HARD EARNED MONEY WORKING ON THE SITE!!! SUSANNNNNNN FETCH ME A CUPPA

Home of the blues. Southend FCHas a pool table and darts board, decent toilets and good prices, no food but right across the road from a chippy where you're allowed to bring it into the pub.

Nice friendly pub. I've recently started to go weekly / twice weekly up to Prittlewell / Westcliffe and went in a few pubs for one drink to see where I felt comfortable. This was the one I felt most at ease, and now regularly pop in. I like the history too and the affinity with SUFC.
