Bought a coffee on Taunton station on Monday morning, 11th December. The staff member dealing with the customer was polite and friendly. Was not impressed with the ‘barrista’ who between the making of every coffee was texting on his phone. Just looked like he was bored. Not a good image, front of house.

This review isn’t so much about the location, product or staff but more about Starbucks’ policy.It’s £3.95 for a small, very average coffee but I was charged £4 as there was a “cup charge”. An extra charge for a cup, in a coffee shop!I’m sure they’ll claim they’re saving polar bears or rain forests by charging you extra, but the reality is it’s a hidden extra to bolster their profits.Use your independent shops wherever you can!

Put a sign on the door to say closing early at 14.30 and then start chucking everyone out at 13.30. Not pleased after splashing out on a cup of tea that cost nearly four quid.

Silly prices. I am no loner going to pay 4.95 for a sausage bun. £4 for a small cappuccino is pretty heavy too. Last gripe - do you train the staff to greet male customers with “Hello Mate”?

Lovely place to stay while waiting for your train to arrive. Aaron on the till gave me great service and made sure my food was nice and hot. He treats every customer with respect which made the place a lot better. Prices are reasonable as well.

Absolutely SHOCKING!First time shut even before announced timesStaff is extremely rude! Shutting early again and even pushing customers away “due to short staff” however 4 members were seen there.Licence of this cafe should be taken away and given to the local business which can provide decent coffee. Place with great potential at very busy train station.Well done Starbucks!
