My dog absolutely loves this secure field!! We’ve tried all of the Hounds and Bounds locations and enjoy them all, but Woodland Walkies and Bark and Bound are our faves.

This is my rescue dog's happy place. He is dog reactive, nervous and has zero recall so is walked on a short lead, often with a muzzle. Here he can be free and it's wonderful seeing him have the space to properly run. Plus the kids love the hot chocolate!

Fantastic bit of woodland for the dogs. Just great to see the dogs run free and explore. Well setup and easy to use. All fenced so if you have a bit of a runaway it's safe. Did have to carry one of mine back to the car. Bit reluctant to go home.

Second visit today 17th Oct.My wife and i love the freedom this super place gives to our two dogs in a lovely safe setting.Thank you Hounds amd bounds. The joy it brings to our dogs is well worth the price. My wife and I and of course our 2 dogs Lilah and Eazy visited Woodland's walkies for the first time yesterday. This is not the first enclosed field that we have visited and our expectations were not very high. After all it was 35 minutes drive and it had started raining. We arrived at the entrance to be met by a sturdy electric gate for which we had s code so that was easy. The gate slid open and we parked our car inside and the gate slid shut again. We opened the car door and our English Setter and sheltie? cross rocketed out of the back. The rain stopped and this looked like a really profesional setup.A short walk down a grass strip to a wicket gate and you go through to your Woodlands Walkies.Wow! This is the best I have ever seen. A lot of thought and care has gone into making this a fantastic experience for the dogs and for the owners. There are poo bacs everywhere and poo bags (no excuse for not picking up guys) water for the dogs, a solid picnic style table and benches, more benches where slightly out of condition people might want to sit until their dogs can catch up with them and a timer hut better than some I have stayed overnight in when fly fishing. Tea and coffee is available and fresh milk in the fridge. This is a really first class set up. Well thought through and beautifully implemented. The fences are sturdy and dog safe and the walkways through the woods dressed with wood chippings.I love this place and will definitely be coming back.I am sorry I didn't take better photos

Another excellent place for dogs to run around freely without worry. We took 2 dogs and they loved having free roam of the place and it was a great chance to practice recall as well. The refreshment hut is brilliant and a few places to sit as well. Really enjoyed and will definitely be booking to go back again. Very reasonable prices for an hour as well.

This is my first time using Hounds and Bounds and elected for their Woodland Walk site. Booking was easy through their website (you have to create an account) and their prices are very reasonable. Finding the site wasn’t a challenge, but it’s down a narrow country lane which has passing spots - go slow in case of oncoming traffic. The exact location is W3W ///petty.demand.zips. Entry to the site is via a keypad on the right, so when you park up you’re already in the secure part - the dog never needs to wear their lead. Right by the entrance is the refreshment hut, equipped with fresh water, a kettle, tea bags, coffee, etc, and two plugs if your phone is dead! Just past that is a seating area for 4, maybe 5, and then the woodland is yours to explore! It’s mostly dry, a few small wet bits, and on the side of a hill so a good workout for the two of you. Really happy, will definitely be back!

Both sites at this location are hard to fault. Secure, clean, Bounds and Bark is great for our sighthound who loves to run as there's so much space. Woodland Walk is great for our lab cross who likes to have a good sniff around! Both sites have good seating which means my husband, who has poor mobility, can enjoy watching our girls have fun off lead in a safe setting. Thank you Hounds and Bounds!

CLEAN SECURE SHADY AND WELL THOUGHT OUT. QUIET SESSION SLOTS ARE GREAT FOR REACTIVE DOGS.Just in outskirts of Tilehurst but felt green rural and quiet. If you have a reactive dog make sure you book a Quiet Session slot so the large grassy Barks& Bounds field (immediately adjacent) is not in use at the same time. We did this and it worked really well.. Both of these dog fields offer some quiet slots at different times.Once the gate you drive through is closed the site is secure. Metal gate is 2m high with ( tiny grid diameter). It closes tight to the ground (hardstanding) so not even a tiny dog could sneak under. The entire site from this point onwards is surrounded by 2m high sturdy/ rigid stock wire fence ( grid diameter c15cm) The inside is double fenced with one metre high sturdy chicken wire" ( mesh diameter abot 3cm). Wire is dug into the ground. There is a wide grassy track (dogproof fenced) to the wooded area. Its about 100m long x 3-4m wide so could be used for fetch in cooler weather. You then go through a 1m high metal gate to the wooded area. This has horizontal metal bars & would stop many but not all dogs ( so always make sure the first gate you drove through is closed)The site is not massive but it has a network of several paths winding through so it feels like there are lots of different spaces to explore ( and a tree trunk or two for dogs to leap over) It is a really pleasant natural woodland space. It was clean ( no poo left lying) with poo bags and a couple of poo bins in the woodland area. It was also reassuring on our first visit not to feel too far away from our dog. There are a couple of outdoor seating areas at different points for weary hoomans. Also the weatherproof shed is just inside the wooded area and also has a table and couple of chairs as weii as a sink ( running water and paper towels) fridge ( with fresh milk) kettle
