Contacted MB Motors to sell my car.Good communication from Malcolm, very straightforward and no hassle. Whilst I didn’t buy a new car here, the forecourt had excellent stock which was very well presented.Thank you very much and would highly recommend.

Great place to buy a car!I had first enquired about a car from Malcolm around 6 months ago, Malcolm was very helpful in telling me different options they had and the option of their 'Source It' method, which baffled me how they offered it for free. After then I decided to change which I recognise is a harder decision for some than others and Malcolm did not try and push and understood that it was a big decision especially parting with a large amount of money.Malcolm and all the staff were exceptionally friendly in the whole process and in my opinion going above and beyond the expected sales process that often happens when looking for a car.Malcolm personally took the time to take me through everything that they would organise in the handover of the car and would post out a secondary key for the car also (which came 2 days later).Malcolm also sat down to discuss finance options as openly and honestly as possibly, not pushing what worked best for him.It was a great, stress free process that I would recommend anyone considering a new car to have a look even if you are not fully decided. Without the pressure of feeling you're being pushed into something you do not want.Fully recommend and will be buying my next car there as well.

A first class business, professional, and trustworthy, with an extensive collection of makes, models, and price ranges, in a convenient location. It has an excellent customer service, and aftersales support, as well as a very experienced sales team, who are knowledgeable, attentive, and respectful. Karl guided us through the process, and helped us find the perfect used car that met our needs, budget, and preferences. The purchase went well, and the dealership was very willing to resolve any problems that cropped up during the process and afterwards.A seamless buying experience, so we will be repeat customers.

AVOID! Sold me an unsafe car for young family.Sold car with 6 months warranty with mb motors, plus 12 month RAC, which would commence after the 6 months ended for additional £349. This was the offer made on the day deposit put down and reiterated day of purchase.Advertised two keys but had one. I paid £149 for a key. Salesman said they cant get mots but once the deposit was placed on the car, they got a mot date within a week.Minimal paperwork on collecting car. No info on warranty. Karl directed me to the website ans said I would get an email about RAC warranty in February.Given keys, a mot certificate and v5c , and advised to tax at post office. We headed out to the car, Karl came out and told us he couldn’t do the warranty. I asked to speak to the manager and the owner came out. He said there had been miscommunication and we misunderstood. I corrected him. Malcolm said it’s one or the other. I tried to get them to at least cover the cost of the second key to try to compensate for the situation but he was not budging. He claimed the key was already done at a discounted rate for us, I called him out immediately as I was there when the quote was obtained at 149. He said he would see an about doing 1 extra month warranty.Malcolm showed a disclaimer on their website which I didnt see viewing on my phone. Once they had the money, the chance for negotiation was gone.We drove the car and immediately heard a constant squeaking sound. We hadn’t heard this on the test drive a couple of weeks before and whoever parked car up had turned a blind eye. Karl said could be handbrake or shoes and should clear. The squeaking did not fully disappear. Additionally the driver seatbelt kept popping out by itself. All three passenger window controls no longer worked. The water reservoir for the screen wash not holding water - it gushed out the bottom as we tried to fill it as if it had a hole.I contacted the Malcolm about issues, expressed that I felt short changed and that the extra one month doesn’t really compensate, even though he hadn’t even came back to me on the matter. The next day (Tuesday), Malcolm replied and offered me a full refund for “anything I had paid”. This is what Malcolm was legally obligated to do within the first 30 days. I was disappointed that he did not offer to fix the car for me. Friday I returned the car for refund of all costs incurred as advised by trading standards. Malcolm was not wanting to refund the months tax nor the £48 of fuel. I did not seek any additional costs for the travel back from ballymena. Whilst Malcolm had offered a refund of all money paid, and despite me returning the car in the same condition but refuelled, he backtracked. Malcolm said he was going to charge me for a weeks car use. I hadn’t had the car a week, it’s an unsafe vehicle and that I stopped using the car when he offered the refund on the Tuesday bar bringing it up on the Friday morning, as mileage would confirm. Malcolm said he didn’t appreciate me coming into his office and telling him to what to do. I was telling him his legal obligations under the Consumer Rights Act. He said he was no longer doing the refund. We again said that the car was sold and not fit for purpose. We asked how it passed mot. Malcolm said ‘take me to court, I don’t care about trading standards’.Malcolm was unprofessional, aggressive and felt the need to bring character into the exchange by telling me I’ve an attitude problem. I, the customer, had compromised the whole time, even for with paying for the second key, and had been more reasonable than most throughout the process.Malcolm said that he would just refund the money because he wanted rid of me. But when he saw that I did not have the full v5c form, he said he would have to withhold money. I told him that I taxed the car and the post office took it. Malcolm decided it fair he withhold £250 until I gave him the full form. I later found out that he withheld 10 times the amount a new v5c form costs. Malcolm made it difficult for me to recoup my money and I didn’t get it all back
