The male receptionist is the worst. He transfer me to another place Pimlico GP which is rate 2 on Google. I refuse to change GP , the. The receptionist just don’t want to book doctor for me anymore. He sounds super unmotivated and wired

Over fifteen years of being a patient at Soho General Practice I am very saddened by the changes that have taken place after a great deal of patient support for it to continue standing where the government wanted to close its doors...I finally decided to look for a new GP Surgery in my area . After a call today to make an appointment with the doctor due to pain in my ribs after falling off my bike..the male receptionist who is always unfriendly and always puts a damper on any information we ask for says my problem will not be resolved there to call the NHS call center to deal with my case...so I asked about a text message I received from Soho SquareGP about covid19 spring buster and he said he doesn't know anything about this covid19 buster and that I had to call the NHS.. totally uninterested in helping the patient. I am tired of this neglected treatment and for this reason I am in the process of moving to a new GP Surgery in my area.

This is by far the best practice I have ever been to. All the staff I have interacted with have been exceptionally friendly and helpful, from the reception staff to the nurses and doctors. My appointment has been on time for every visit I have had, the building has an open layout and lots of light so doesn't feel claustrophobic like a lot of waiting rooms... I have no complaints! If you can join this surgery definitely do so.

Avoid this Soho Square general practice, simply useless for healthcare needs and customer service close to zero. I've been patient of the clinic for several years now, luckily I haven't had the need to contact them often but those two or three times I needed help they have been completely useless. Once I went for a visit with quite of a serious pain and the suggested therapy has been 2 weeks of paracetamol and if you're still in pain then come back to us" - I thought it was a joke. And today the latest bad experience

I called for an urgent appointment and was seen the same day face to face by Dr Thompson. She was absolutely brilliant. During lockdown I could always get an appointment within a day or two to speak with a GP by telephone and was offered face to face if required. The new surgery team are fantastic and we finally have a team running our surgery who care about us as patients.

If you have real health concerns, avoid. Fine if you only need a sick note, or medication repeats once every 6 months. If you need real care & consistency, if you visit frequently, this is not the place. You’ll rarely (if ever) see the same doctor. A very high staff turnover raises questions about the employer. They don’t know whether they’re coming, or going half the time, so you as the patient have to instruct them in what to do. Other decent doctors around in W1, so do your research off page 1 of Google. Don’t go here if you have real health issues that need proper consistent treatment.

Was happy with the service until now, when I needed to be examined and was told I can get an “e consultation by phone in 2 weeks” before being considered or not for a face to face appointment. 2nd time im faced with this rigidity around e consultations.

It is impossible to get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time to get adequate treatment. They only provide extended hours appointments in Pimlico and Marble Arch which are 40+ minutes away from where I live.In one of such appointments, without any doubts, I received the worst care in my life by any measure. The clinician just prescribed me antibiotic after barely listening to me or doing any kind of diagnosis. She clearly wanted to see me out of the door as soon as possible. It is a disgrace that I pay for this level of (non) service with my taxes.I am changing practice, and I hope you soon receive a visit by CQC.Reply: What you are saying is simply not true. Multiple times the earliest available appointment was few days days, if not weeks away. Don't insult me by shamelessly lying please.

The GP is fine, I have no complaints. However, the male receptionist barely speaks English and it’s really difficult to communicate with him.
