KLC School of Design

Great experience at a Lighting 2 day short course with Rebecca Weir. She is so knowledgeable and sophisticated! I also bought her book afterwards, she and the class are amazing!

I signed up for KLC distance learning back in 2016.Even though I found the course to be structurally cohesive and well planned a few months down the line I found that distance learning withing the industry of Interior Design in insufficient and looked down on in this career. I contacted KLC on various occasions and asked for transfer from open learning to one-off weekend course! I explained my predicament and was faced with a hostile 'NO'. I took on finance provided by KLC so understood that the money has to be paid as I went into a financial agreement. I kept up with my payments of course which have come to an end but I am very disappointed with lack of sympathy on the school's behalf and struggle to understand why they would not accommodate me on one-off weekend course. Instead they opted for keeping me on OL course which I found useless. Instead I managed to start a business of my own... and I would recommend the same to you

I studied on the Online Foundation Degree programme (now absorbed into the BA Hons degree) for just over 3 years. My experience was nothing short of brilliant - great tutors, a visible pastoral team, engaging creative and technical course content explained in very accessible terms, and a lovely cohort of peers.Before starting the programme I was concerned that the online format would leave me feeling confused and alone but I need not have feared. Thanks to the recorded instructional lectures, live seminars, one to ones, and the chat forum that is checked on a daily basis by the tutors, any uncertainties I had were resolved within hours.This is an intensive course so you must be able and willing to commit, but if you are passionate about interior design then you will find a great deal of personal reward will follow.

Fantastically presented open day with engaging and eloquent alimni on hand to guide my daughter on decision making and tips for advanced preparation steps.

If you are over 30 years old, you are not British and you take your studies seriously enough to ask for the school's employment service after graduation, choose another school to study, or better yet choose another country to work as interior designer ..

I studied here for three years, from the get go it felt as though I had been lied to, the course was not as expected and there were far less people doing the course than I was told. Having now left I can say it is one of the most toxic learning environments I have ever been in. I would strongly recommend you save your money and go else where.

I'm doing the online garden design certificate. I chose this course because it came with AutoCAD and Sketchup instruction as part of the course, however all of the videos are for interior design. Add to this that the AutoCAD instruction is for PC only. There are ZERO teachings on garden design for either of these programs. This was sold as a garden design program!! For me it is a huge waste of a lot of money.

Whoever is on reception today is terrible at representing the college. Very rude man! I asked a simple question and he hung up the phone! I will not be enquiring about a course anymore!

Very very disappointing since I had no support for technical issues on their platform and didn't get any reply whatsoever. They still expect full monthly payment despite everything. Incredible!

Online KLC/ interior designPlease, don’t waste your money here! I regret a lot. The program is not updated, very dry boring presented material, the hole platform has to be upgraded….no feedback, no support. That would be my first very disappointing experience, I wish someone could worn me out of this course. Don’t enter!
