In May this year my father in law passed away suddenly leaving us all in shock.My partner Sue had used Bridgefords some years ago for her mother’s funeral and was very happy with their services. When we visited Sam and her team we were welcomed with a sympathetic and caring approach. They were kind and helpful in the organising all the details of the funeral and arranging the collection of Bills body to the point of advising it best we remembered him as we last saw him. Sam gave us the offer of using a celebrant instead of a vicar everyone said what a lovely service he gave. Sue was very touched by the small gestures Sam did like taking a rose from our flowers and lying it on the garden wall before we left and not rushing us out of the chapel at the end of the service till we were ready. All the team were the best we could have wished for in helping us through this very difficult time and would not hesitate to recommend or use again. Thank you once again Sue and family.

After the sensitively conducted funeral of my late mother, which was completely as she had requested in her pre-planned bond, my friend decided to book his own funeral as he had very specific requests. It included a beautiful order of service, Pipers and numerous pieces of music and readings, both in church and at the crematorium. Recently he passed away and the lengthy service he planned for himself went so smoothly the family and friends were comforted that his wishes had been fulfilled to the very last detail. Heartfelt thanks go to all the staff at Bridgfords on both occasions, who made extremely sad occasions bearable with dignity and respect throughout.

When my father passed away a month ago, we asked Sam to arrange his funeral. She was the ultimate professional, knowing just what to say to my devastated mum who had been with my dad for 63 years. She explained everything in detail and was patient and empathetic. Sam guided us through all the paperwork and explained everything to us. I knew that my dad would be well looked after. On the day of the funeral, Sam and Steve took exceptional care of all of us, especially my mum who is disabled. Steve who drove us to dad's funeral know exactly what to say to my mum and the rest of the family. My mum described him as a 'true gentleman'. Our wishes were followed to the letter and the funeral service was beautiful. I just want to thank Sam from the bottom of my heart for everything she dis for us.

I recently attended my dear friends Mums funeral and was very impressed with the kind, caring and sympathetic way in which arrangements were handled. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were very sensitive and professional at a highly emotional time. The attention to small detail was second to none. This allowed my friend and her family to celebrate the life of their loved one with peace of mind. Thank You.
