Recently purchased a fan from Allen Bros, the team there were amazing! They have trade and retail and we're able to help me choose the product I was looking for I have been using them for years for lighting and wiring and this is my most recent purchase. Can't fault them, fantastic team and products.

Great service and advice. Bought two lights to run on dimmers. Fitted lights and led bulbs kept flickering. Rang Allen's and was advised that the light dimmer switches fitted (new build house) probably weren't compatible and that the switches they sell are guaranteed to work with the lights they sell.Thought I was going to need 2 new chrome switches but they advised buying one white 2 gang - unscrew the resistors and replace them on the current chrome switches. When I got to the shop they advised me to buy a 2 gang chrome switch as it was cheaper than the White one by £4 !!. Did as advised and both lights now work perfectly. Great advice and even saved me money - have used them for years and will continue to do so. Thoroughly recommend as guaranteed genuine service.

Found the customer service to be excellent. The gentleman was happy to turn off lights around it, so I could see the glow of the one I wanted. Spent almost an hour with us without any trouble.To top it off, they were cheaper than any other place I could buy from - so buying another one :)HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY

They have a good variety of lights that are well displayed and all at very competitive prices. Situated on London Road Leigh on sea has outside shop parking very convenient for seniors.The staff a team of men, they're very impatient if you take a long time pondering , my assistant walked away a lot and eventually sent someone else to serve me.

Very good selection of lighting, both ceiling and wall, for any room and catalogues full of more lighting that can be ordered. Very helpful and informative staff. In the present climate of lockdowns these local shops come into there own.

Most fantastic range of lights, chandeliers and lamps, provide excellent service and really know what they are talking about, nothing more to ask for.
