I have used Xanders at a few events, the Bowl Foods. Served hot, yummy and filling at Ceilidhs it was a perfect feed. On another occasion when I was having a large gathering coming I got the soup, which while very tasty was kept hot and a treat for my guests after driving.The staff are so friendly and committed to providing the best food and service.Thanks

we asked for an extra packaging for our small treats for our wedding guests and the catering was amazingly professional, the quality was excellent, the packaging was even better than expected, and they were on time.

High quality freshly prepared food, luncles especially. Also a variety of buffet selections including canapés. The head chef Bob also cooks hot food for parties including his amazing beef bourguignon. Xanders even cater for private functions and weddings. Absolutely amazing and couldn't recommend enough.

Xanders catered two events for us during the Edinburgh Fringe and we were very pleased with both the food and the service provided. Being a showcase for artists from Adelaide in South Australia, we were delighted to see guests served with traditional Aussie 'pie floaters' - something which some of our staff hadn't ever tried before!

Great Food and Service from Xanders. I used this service for an Employee Appreciation Day and it was not disappointed. There were rave reviews about the food - the mac and cheese to rival any mum's. I'll definitely be using their service again. I can't recommend it enough.

We had Xanders supply our conference, morning croissant, lunch's and afternoon snacks and cakes.The food was amazing, excellent quality, the conference was 50 people and all of them were very complimentary that the food was really good and catered for people's needs.The service was also excellent, able to meet the timing requirements smoothly and available to discuss any queries.From start to finish and excellent catering firm and we would highly recommend them.The portions were as stated and plenty of food for every one.Many many thanks .....

I have used Xander's a number of times now for both fun parties and more formal events. Their food is always delicious and service very professional, reliable and friendly. I have had a few themed parties where they did a great job creating the food to match the theme - no request appears to be too difficult. I would have no hesitation in recommending them for anything from home buffets to large formal affairs. A five star team!

We contacted Xanders to do the catering for a joint 60th birthday party. Bob and Jan were both very helpful in making suggestions for the meal which we took on board including the idea of having a balloon display.On the evening, they provided a lovely spread and all the guests complimented us for the food which was very tasty. This helped us to have an extremely enjoyable birthday and we were glad we had chosen Xanders to look after the catering. Based on our experience of their friendly servic and reasonable prices we would recommend them to others.

I wouldn't use Xanders again, unfortunately! They are never on time and the driver is never apologetic for being late. The cakes are low quality (on occasions been given a tunnocks teacakes!) and come looking like they've been rolling about in the back of a car. Although I am only ordering for small groups the portions are underwhelming, will definitely go back to over ordering and getting quality service and food elsewhere

A year ago we ordered from Xander's a poached salmon for 20 and it arrived punctually, beautifully presented, dressed with cucumber slices (looking like fish scales), shrimps and lemon. It was much admired by our guests, and was absolutely delicious. We also liked the potato salad, creamy and with plenty of green herbs.So we ordered the same thing again for a similar party this year, and it was again great.Looking forward to more next year, and we may even try something else...
