I purchased a Sherborne recliner for my mother 3+ years ago. I contacted both the retailer and Sherborne as it had stopped reclining. I was very impressed with the after customer services and am now waiting for the chair to be picked up and returned to Sherborne to be fixed. Many thanks to Julie.

My 91 year old father recently bought your electric recliner seat. He loves it and says its it's the most comfortable seat he's sat in. No sooner has he made himself comfy then he's asleep. He really looks forward to sitting in it. Great chair and well worth the money.

We purchased a Sherborne Chesterfield suite, 2 chairs are lift and rise and settee reclines. It was leather and quite expensive. We hadn’t had it very long when we noticed places starting to lose colour. Covid came and we had deaths and sickness in the family so it wasn’t reported. It has got worse and one side of the settee has sunk down as if losing padding. It is a long story but suffice to say Sherborne don’t want to know and told me to contact where I bought it. They got no where with them either. I have sent Sherborne 2 emails asking if they could send someone out to see it or at least advise if there is anything we could do to replace the colour. They have ignored both emails. We won’t ever buy their furniture again or recommend them. We had a suite for over 15 years and gave it to my son because we wanted a lift and rise and he has it over 5 years and no sign of colour coming off. It was Italian made but we thought we were safe with a British made one. Not good for a company like them.

We bought a Sherborne Recliner for my dads 90th. Within one month it was turning a blue colour. The retailer, Annetts Fine Furniture, told us it is dye transfer, probably from his jeans. The chair that he sat in for the last twenty years before buying this is fine. They then recommended that we clean it and also complain to the jeans manufacturer. I then phoned Sherborne who told me that there was nothing that they would do, the responsibility is with the retailer. My dad has sever heart failure and the stress of this is not helping him at all. We bought the recliner in September 2019, complained in October 2019 and now its Feb 26th 2020 and we are no further forward.

Thank you to the lady in the sales office for trying to help me out with a spring for one of our chairs. Our Heath Robinson repair we have adapted and all is well again but many thanks for trying to help two real oldies.

Lost a lot of money by buying Sherborne furniture. Ordered from a retailer Lucus Furniture and waited 5 months for it to come. Within days could smell like the odour of mould coming from the arms and wings.Apart from worrying about health and safety issues and the smell being a turn off what followed was 4 months of hell with the retailer denying any responsibility and refusing to refund my monies and/ ot take back this worrying furniture. I never got past the switchboard with Sherborne let alone customer services. After 4 months of sleepless nights it ended first with the retailer spraying the furniture with upholstery perfume and then even worse coming to our house telling us we would lose all our money if we did not agree to give them £750 to sell their faulty from the start furniture. Never had an experience like it before and hope never to again. Really let down by Sherborne Upholstery and the retailer Lucus Furniture. If you don’t want to lose money and you want peace of mind don’t buy from them.
