Since the fare has been £2, I have been using the bus once or twice a week as I enjoy a break from driving. The buses are comfortable and clean. I like being able to pay by credit card.I caught the bus today, Saturday, and there was a notice to advise of a driver shortage meaning the buses weren't as regular as usual. Hopefully that can be resolved quickly.In my experience, Ipswich buses offers a good service.

I ride with ipswich buses in colchester sometimes to get to tesco and back and just to ride around, but today, I had a borough card, which is valid on any bus company in colchester, I wanted to go to tesco, and the bus driver didnt let me on. I tried telling him its a borough card, but he didnt care, and it seemed he was ignoring me. Instead, i went somewhere else. But with my other experiences with ipswich buses (which are good), i would recommend this company

I work there, but yes it is improving its services, which, considering the last 2 years since Covid-19, has still been providing a bus service 7 days a week.

The bus service is good,the female drivers are sociable and will have a chat and a laugh, they have great social skills, however half the male drivers look like they have lost a pound and found a penny, miserable,grumpy,they look like they don't want to be at work,they lack social skills, is it a trait with bus drivers in Ipswich, I don't know, but some are quite jovial,good to get on their bus for the journey home, maybe they need training in customer service.we thank them for taking us home, but some don't reciprocate. Shame.

I wait for number 6 busses going in to town and back again and I must say very slow service 2 on the hour and the drivers never look happy

There's a few staff that are a great credit to this company. However this company doesn't seem to know the importance of customer service or value their customers. ( rip of merchants) only use them last resort

Poor lady's managed to get her credit card trapped in between the bus drivers covid screen straight after paying. Two bus drivers when above and beyond to get the credit card out. Well done. Route 9 11 am Friday 12/11/21.
