Bupa Dental Care Caerphilly

I've been going to this dentist for a few years now, and I've never had any issues or problems. All the staff are, and have been friendly and approachable, it's also very clean and there is ample free parking.

Was quick to get me an emergency appointment and dentist Veska was kind and supportive. Showed me multiple options for the future looking foreward to fixing my smile with Veska in the near future

100% recommend! I have been trying to find a dentist for years. When I saw Bupa's smile plan and the affordability I couldn't have been happier. I was seen by Veska and she was extremely helpful and went through all of my option very clearly and efficiently.The reception staff are all very friendly, and I didn't have to wait long at all to be seen.

I’ve always been scared of the dentist with how rough they can be and unsupportive however sammy made me feel really comfortable and explained everything to me before he proceeded to help me understand, couldn’t appreciate it more, thank you :)

Not impressed, was left for 3 months with two broken front teeth told emergency appointments were for children, I'm a pensioner. Ended up at another private practise had to have 2 crowns removed which I paid Bupa over £1,000 and replaced with 4 new ones my new temporary crowns are 10 times better than the 2 done at Bupa. Getting permanent ones next week. Difficult to get through on telephone. Would highly recommend Smart Smiles in Ystrad. A far superior Practise.

I am terrified of the dentist, but my dentist makes me feel at ease and explain what they going to do, not just do it I definitely recommend them 100%

Moved to Caerphilly recently and had to find an NHS dentist which is really hard. I contacted several dentists with no luck and not really much help at all but I phoned Bupa as my final try. The lady who answered the phone was polite and respectful, offering guidance and support. She put me on a waiting list to call back in 3 months which I had completely forgotten about until I had received a call to book an appointment. The building is small but the practice has made full use of the space. The receptionists are polite! The dentist I seen was helpful but also supportive. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I feel happy to have found a regular dentist.

Would give zero stars if you could! Have to book appointments months in advance and pay a deposit, but always cancel on the day. Has happened to me twice in a row now.

For some reason the name on this post has been inserted by BUPA and is not me. My name is Arthur. I have just had yet another horrendous experience with BUPA Caerphilly. It is not possible to put less than one star for a review or I would give them --1000. At least. I will summarise. I had booked an appointment at the Caerphilly practice. It was for an impression to put an additional tooth on a denture following an extraction. A simple procedure. The appointment was a Tuesday, the one day in the week on which the courier picked up the impressions. I was assured the repaired denture would be back by Thursday. I was going on holiday early Friday, so that was perfect. Long story short - I was told by a surly male receptionist that I did not have an appointment. I showed the confirmation text which was ignored. I spent one and a half hours sat in reception and watched the courier arrive and leave. Every now and then the male receptionist would ask me my name. Once he even called me Michael. When I eventually got to see the dentist it took 5 minutes to take the impressions. However it was too late and I had to spend 2 weeks in a hotel in Menorca without any lower denture. I looked and felt like Wurzel Gummidge. Thanks BUPA

Excellent service. Straight talking. Treated like a human (unlike NHS dentists that treat you like a piece of meat). Highly recommend, although waitlist to join this practice is insane.
