Libertas Brazilian jiu-jitsu

I had seen advertisements for Libertas when attending my local gym and was interested to know more but had put it off due to confidence. After a couple of difficult periods in my personal life I thought I’d give BJJ a try and it’s changed me for the better. I’ve got so much more confidence in myself, physically and mentally stronger, and have made some great friends through the club. The Libertas team is like a family and we all turn up wanting to better ourselves as well as help others with their training! Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Thank you also to Professor Steve for your support and guidance :)If anyone is unsure about joining I’d say take the plunge because it might be the best decision you ever make!

I always liked martial arts but never had the confidence to sign up. I went to a few classes elsewhere as a taster but felt out of place. When I signed up to Libertas I instantly felt welcome. It didn't matter what level I was at and it still doesn't - the team are supporting and our professor is friendly with all of our best interests at heart. Thank you for guiding me into my next exciting journey.
