Way over priced and so not worth it, found cheaper pricing else where

1 star for customer service! Called about my 15 year old sister getting an industrialist piercing with my consent and ID as her 23 year old sibling. Was asked why my mother wasn’t “responsible” to attend the piercing appointment with her.. AFTER explaining my mum asked me to attend as she works. They was going to confirm piercing her until being asked if we have the same surname.. to which we don’t.. And was instantly shut down. I understand age restrictions.. that isn’t my complaint, the way I was spoken to was just so rude! Just because we do not have the same last name does not mean I’m not her sister! My mother and sister don’t have the same surname either.. so the questions about her mum were irrelevant as well then? If your basing it off surnames. If you don’t pierce anyone under the age of 16, just say so, there is no need for the ignorance.I’ve managed to book with another piercer as long as I am present with ID.. and no.. they have no concerns about our last names being different.

Thank you very much Judy and Ray for looking after me and my daughter so well on Saturday. Shes been desperate to get her ears pierced! The service was great, they pierced both ears at the same time and gave her a little certificate of bravery afterwards. Reasonably priced too I would recommend.

Unprofessional and unclean.I went in to find a new ring for my nose. The man showed me a few options, but I couldn’t really see what I was looking for. He dug around in a pile of rings and produced a couple of options I said maybe to before rushing me into a back room to “try them”.He didn’t wash his hands and just put on a pair of gloves. I didn’t see him sterilise the rings which had been taken straight from the cabinet and were not in sterilised packaging. He removed my current nose ring (bending it completely out of shape), before applying Vaseline to one of the new rings from a tub that had been lying open. I look at the ring he had in his hand and I told him I didn’t want that one as I would struggle to put it in on my own. He said “let’s try it” and proceeded to put it in. It was incredibly painful and I shouted for him to stop twice as he struggled to fit it in, which was ignored. When he did stop he showed me the piercing in a mirror, which had been put in the wrong way round, so was incorrectly fitted. I told him I didn’t want this one, and to please just put in the other one. I had started to tear up with the pain, and he laughed at me and told me I was “incredibly sensitive” before meekly offering me a sliver of tissue as I continued to cry, at which point my friend appeared at the wide open door who had heard all this from the other side of the shop. As someone who has multiple tattoos and piercings, I have a high pain tolerance but I do not react well to having metal shoved in my face in a rough and unprofessional manner.He again applied Vaseline to the 2nd piercing, roughly removed the 1st one before shoving in the second. This again was incredibly painful but over much quicker. He clicked it into place and showed me in the mirror. By this point I just wanted to leave and go to a different piercing parlour to have this rectified, so I wanted to exit as swiftly as possible. He saw me continuing to cry and continued to laugh at me and shake his head, looking at my friend and rolling his eyes at me. My friend told him that he was quite rough with me and he just shrugged.At the counter he charges me £20, which I begrudgingly paid so I could leave as swiftly as possible. I said to him that next time a client asks him to STOP, he should absolutely stop. He laughed and told me that the reason it was so painful was because the diameter of the metal was larger than the piercing I had, so “of course” it was painful and whoever pierced me used a needle that was too thin. I was quite taken aback by his abruptness and said he should have explained that before taking me into the back room so I could make an informed decision, to which he shrugged and said he’s never had a problem in the 30 years he’s been doing this. Myself and my friend said again that communication and warning would have been appreciated and is key to providing good service. There was no aftercare or advice provided.The entire encounter in the shop was so rushed, taking about 5 minutes, and I felt incredibly bullied by the man. Unfortunately, the piercing is still incredibly painful and is now infected. AVOID!

first time getting a piercing and would highly recommend. professional and hygienic. the treatment room looks a little bit old and tattered, could do with some renovation

Avoid this place for piercing and go to an actual professional. Did my tragus piercing her, it took nearly a year to heal. I didn't know why. When it finally became unpainful for me to touch I tried to change the stud by couldn't open it in any way. He had sealed it so hard it wouldn't unscrew. When I went back and asked if they could open it for me the lady said it would be £5. I said you're the one that put it in, took over a year to heal and now you're going to charge me to unscrew it? Their attitude is absolutely awful and they have 0 customer service skills. No wonder the shop is always empty even on a Saturday! When I went to a proper piercer to get it opened they also told me the piercing may well be rejected as he had put it so close to the edge it can easily tear off if it catches or if I'm not careful. Please please go anywhere else but here.

I went in there to change my nose piercing. I asked for a certain size and colour and he was struggling to get it in, he said “no no it’s fine”. I said perhaps we just stop it doesn’t fit in. He insisted it was fine and he left the room for a while, bare in mind my nose was just bleeding at this point. He went and changed the piercing, the size and the colour. I was in too much pain at this point to even want to change it again. I’ve never had such a painful experience where I insisted the ‘piercer’ to stop several times and the did not. Expectedly I got a piercing bump AND granuloma after this and had to change piercings. I spent £20 for low quality gold plated jewellery and a rough experience.Very unprofessional and uncomfortable experience.

Overpriced! On everything you call and get a different price from when you arrive and one nose bare £10!!

Staff not welcoming to get my baby pierced, rushed to get piercings made me feel unease. Was a bit traumatic experience. They need to improve on customer service.

Fantastic clean and efficient service. They were so good with my 1 year old she hardly noticed. Real good quality jewellery used. Would definitely recommend for young ones !! Fairly priced too…and I didn’t book!!
