Very grateful for their quick response on a sunday, quick repairs although 15 cars were damaged and okay price! (Some idiot punctured the tires of 15 cars.)

Great handy local garage.I've only give it 4stars because the LPG is 50pence a litre more than most other places.HOWEVER I needed it and I was greatfulIf I had the only LPG in miles around I'd probably do the same and we are on the West Coast of Scotland.

Last week myself and my husband had an unfortunate experience where our van broke down while on holiday. ‘Above and beyond’ does not do justice to the service we experienced at lochbroom garage in their efforts to help us. They not only tried to help fix the van but then when it became clear that it was not going to be a quick fix they helped us with acquiring car hire, taxi services, lent us their phone, even gave us a lift to Inverness to pick up our hired car. We couldn’t be more grateful and would highly recommend Lochbroom garage for its excellent customer service. Thank you Leigh and Alan!

A very helpful garage if you have any problem with your car from a breakdown, puncture, new tyre. they cover North of Perth including Inverness. Thanks to Alan helping us with a slow puncture on our motorhome.

Really friendly and came out and filled up the lpg for us. Stress free. Pricier than home but the first one since leaving Wick, so to be kind of expected just don't take the mick. Thank you.

My rental car got a puncture and I was left stranded 18 hours in the village of Durness! The only garage willing to come to my rescue was Lochbroom. I couldn’t be more grateful to Allan, who approved the mission and later replaced the tyre in no time, and to Chris, who drove the long and challenging road from Ullapool to Durness and back, and also cheered me up. If you ever need service from the Lochbroom garage and get to meet Allan or Chris, no matter how exhausted or angry you are with the situation you are in, please be kind to them! They are extraordinary people.

Myself and my partner were travelling the NC500 route in mid October 2023 when our engine warning light came on. Our van started to accelerate by itself and go into limp mode intermittently. After this the revs would slowly crawl from 1000 rpm to 2000 rpm once turned over. We managed to pull into Knockan Crag Nature reserve and call the AA and Alan from Lochbroom Garage Services called us and said he would come to us that day.We managed to drive the van from Knockan Crag to Ullapool as the diagnostic tool didn't read our LDV Maxus and the one in the garage would. As they were extremely busy they managed to squeeze us in quickly to run the diagnostics which said it needed a new MAF sensor and the air filter was dirty also. New parts arrived the next day and were fitted again when they could squeeze us in by Robin the mechanic which unfortunately made no difference to the issue. It had cleared the errors from the original diagnostics and now was saying the MAP sensor also needed replacing. This was ordered and the next day was able to fit it and still made no difference.We found that our battery had died which pointed to the alternator not charging the battery which in turn cause the battery to overcompensate and high idle the van.Once the battery was replaced and still had not made a difference Robin used a multimeter to check the voltage when the van was off and when turned on and found it wasn't charging at all as the voltage was the same on and off.We ordered a new alternator which Robin came in Saturday to fit for us. He found once the van was put on the ramp and raised up that a wire had frayed which linked the battery to the dashboard and as soon as it was fixed the check battery light had come on on the dashboard of the van. If this hadn't have frayed, it would have come on the first time with the check engine light and would have pointed us to the battery and alternator instantly which is no fault of the garage at all to not see that straight away.Fingers crossed after spending the week in Ullapool we were hoping it would fix it so we could finally carry on with our trip and once the alternator had been replaced the idle was perfect and all the issues were no longer happening.The garage managed to save our holiday and we can't thank them enough.So to Alan, Robin and Lee especially thank you so much.We cannot recommend their services any higher, they were absolutely fantastic from start to finish, from being able to fit us in between their busy work days to communicating with us what it could be, how much it would cost and when they could feasibly get it all done.10/10 services. If you ever get stuck near Ullapool these are the guys to call.

After our campervan had a mechanical breakdown in Scourie, we had a tow to Lochbroom Garage in Ullapool. They were really friendly and did there best to help us. Unfortunately the part we needed was not available so we needed a recovery for our campervan. Lea and Allen helped us organize this even do it was really busy.Many thanks for your help, Arjan & Annelies

These people in Ullapool were the most helpful people you can imagine on a recovery job for us. Kind, honest, going way past the extra mile to make sure we were really all sorted out and safe until the last moment. They saved our day, and a lot more. Thank you, Leigh and Chris!!
