Just picked up a 2014 VW Leisuredrive conversion from Poplar Motors in Chesterfield - the drive home to N Yorks was a real pleasure and we're delighted with the vehicle. The whole experience has been great - no high pressure sales talk, just lots of patience and information. This is a great business to visit - thank you to David and also to Dean , Megan and the whole of the office and workshop team. Everyone was so helpful and pleasant !

If ever I'm in the market for a campervan again, this place will be my first port of call. David and Megan are so down to earth and helpful. I will miss my annual visit with Cilla for her annual health check.

After hiring a Toyota Hiace campervan from here last year, we were hooked ! We have purchased our own little “Hattie” and there would have been nowhere else we would have gone to! This was such a pleasure. Megan was fantastic from start to finish. Quick to reply to any phone calls and kept me up to date throughout. There was no pushy sales done or changes at the last minute. What was agreed to, was stuck to. They have been in business for such a long time because they know what they're doing. I did a 7hr round trip and couldn't be happier with every aspect, from trade in value, cost and service.

Great independent family run business. Good variety of vehicles at attractive prices made us interested, especially the mobile campers. The owner spent time talking with us about the vehicle we had our eye on without being a hard salesman. A pleasant change from the indifferent type in the large garages.Excellent service on a sale and made us feel valued as customers.Although not local we'll definitely look at this business if we look to replace our new vehicle

Where to start….. what a absolutely useless company!I purchased a Range Rover in August for £8,600 and working 24hours of ownership reported an extensive list of issues. Everything from buckled wheels, faulty suspension, faulty steering, door trim hanging off and many many more issues!My Opinion with Poplar Motors is that initially Megan will be really friendly but will be the biggest wet wipe going. Any issues has to go through Dean… I mean if you can get hold of him. My Range was taken to Poplar motors on the 7th of October for a replacement water pump and collected on the 14th. Upon further inspection, after being told they replaced the water pump they haven’t even attempted the fix let alone replaced it.I am currently proceeding through debt collection with Poplar Motors, who are burying their head in the sand along with Close Brothers Motor Finance.This is one of many reviews I will be posting with photos and much much more.The attention of: David Lister, Megan Lister & Dean. I know you will be reading this, reach out and sort it before court action.

We purchased a Mercedes Benz on the 13 Nov 2019 man called dean very friendly helpful posted all info log details plus keys to our house derliver car. Even posted stamped address envelope so we cud post new log book off.i would recommend this company to work any of my friends who want a new car.
