Annie was an amazing teacher. I really enjoyed learning Spanish with her. The recourses and lessons where brilliant and she was very friendly. I learnt lots and had fun at the same time.

Muy buena experiencia! Estuve dos semanas de intercambio en la casa de Annie con ella y su familia. Pude así conocer sus costumbres y aprender muchas palabras nuevas hablando con ellos. También conoci lugares muy lindos a los que me llevó Annie de los que me llevo muchos buenos recuerdos.Para adquirir experiencia laboral trabajé en el Willis Museum y en Sue Ryders (charity shop) en ambos lugares me trataron muy bien y siempre me ayudaron. Aprendí mucho, me gustó poder interactuar con tanta gente nueva y aprender más el idioma a partir de ello.Recomiendo este intercambio, es muy lindo y ayuda mucho a familiarizarse y aprender mas inglés.

From a cold start with lessons over Zoom, Annie quickly established a great rapport with her, built her confidence and at the same time kept her on task! Annie at Tailored Languages was a five star find. She was recommended to us to help with my daughter’s French GCSE. My daughter looked forward to every lesson and Annie provided exactly the no-nonsense but kind encouragement my daughter needed. As a result, my daughter went into her exams feeling confident and well rehearsed with the speaking and listening elements particularly. Annie was very knowledgable about the curriculum and was flexible in her approach to lessons - even continuing with them whilst on holiday via zoom! I highly recommend Annie and will certainly be using her again should my daughter go on to do French A Level.

Annie has been my son’s French tutor for the last couple of years. When he started his GCSE and we knew he needed support. After the first two lessons he told me that he understood more grammar than during the last year at school and he remained to be enthusiastic about the lessons. During the pandemic we moved to online sessions which did not affect the quality of teaching. My son’s French was improving quickly but he found regular revision challenging. Annie was very creative in keeping him motivated and often messaged him during the week to support his learning. Closer to the exams she was extra flexible and focused on my son’s individual revision needs accommodating his hectic GCSE schedule. The result speaks for itself- he got 9! Annie is simply an amazing teacher who really cares about her students!

Hola!!Estuve viviendo en Inglaterra tres años y Annie fue mi profesora de inglés durante dos de ellos. Sin lugar a dudas ha sido una profesora excelente y diría que incluso la mejor que he tenido. Dada a la gran dedicación y preocupación por sus estudiantes, hace que las clases sean muy dinámicas y además motivadoras.Annie es una persona muy cercana y amigable y a pesar de no haber hecho intercambio en su casa, ya que solo daba las clases ahí, conozco a su familia y puedo decir que es tan encantadora y acogedora como ella!!Sin lugar a dudas, si lo que quieres es aprender inglés, avanzar y con una persona realmente capacitada para ello, Annie es la profesora ideal!I miss you so much Annie!!

We asked for Annie's help preparing our daughter for her GCSE Spanish oral and she was brilliant. We did five or six sessions over the Easter holidays and it hugely improved her confidence. Highly recommended!

Hello! I have been going to Annie for english lessons for approximately two years. She is very welcoming and friendly, also she always adapts to your needs.I would highly recommend Annie if you want to learn a new language or improve, as she knows lots of languages and she is a very good teacher.
