Great vibe and venue, there were Morris dancers performing when we were there which was a highlight.Food was very generously portioned, although a little slow to come out (although it was busy so understandable). The Cider selection was immense and I wish I had more time to try them all!Would definitely come here again!

Very friendly with a welcoming atmosphere. The seating allows everyone to join in the conversation and the beer is top notch! I didn’t eat there as we had already eaten but had a really good time on both of my visitsThe locals made me very welcome and the Landlord recognised me on my second visit of the week. I spoke to many locals who are obviously very grateful that the Landlord has taken on the pub as it is quite isolated and was closed for a couple of years. They, along with me say that he and his family are doing a sterling job.

Excellent food at such a good price, good selection of Ales, large garden out the front and a massive covered area out back.Staff and locals friendly. Shame its so far from where I live!!

I first enjoyed this excellent pub over 50 years ago, and have visited many times since. I am very pleased that it has survived, unlike many other country pubs, and is now even better than ever. Long may it thrive.

Popped in for lunch after hearing good things about the food and the Cuckoo Inn didn't disappoint.The staff worked around the special diet needs of my wife and produced a Pizza she could (and did) enjoy.

Unfortunately I can't recommend thought we'd go here to have a nice ploughman's but it was far from it. Items missing from one plate to another, hard cheddar cheese, rock hard bread and off pickle all for the privilege of £10 a pop.There are new owners and they were very pleasant, warm and welcoming and the beer was very nice hence the extra star but they have a long way to go to improve the food side.

Looks amazing from the roadside until you get inside. Very stark interior, minimal seating, and the bar is only long enough to serve 1 person at a time. Drinks here are ridiculously priced, and it took nearly 20 minutes to get served. We were very disappointed and will not return.
