We had our wedding reception here in January 2023.It was the most incredible day, from the moment we first chose the Kings Chapel to the moment we left, everything was perfect.Lillian and Lara looked after us throughout the process, guiding us and advising on what works best. The whole process was seamless and comfortable. Thank you for all your help!On the day the staff were wonderful too. Alice, Joe and Toby were brilliant as well as all the other members of the team, the venue was beautifully set up and service was exceptional. Our guests were all looked after so well. Everything felt so calm and effortless.The food was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. Thank you to Martyn and the kitchen team for such an incredible job! So many of our guests commented on just how delicious the food was.We stayed at the Crown Inn, which was just gorgeous too! Breakfast was relaxed and well organised.Thank you to all the staff for looking after us so well and making our day so special. It truly was an unforgettable.Ruth and Andy xx

We had our wedding at the Kings Chapel in June 2023! It was the most amazing day! The venue is so stunning, the food is delicious and the staff are amazing! Lara our wedding coordinator was just amazing, nothing was too much trouble and responded quickly to all of our queries.All of our guests commented on how amazing the day was and really enjoyed themselves!I would highly recommend the kings chapel to anyone! What an amazing place and team!

We got married here in August 2023 and the day was better than we could have ever imagined.The whole team were incredible from the day we first visited the venue and our wedding coordinator, Kiera, was absolutely fantastic. She always responded to all our emails quickly and was such a reassuring presence on the day.We had so many comments from our guests about how beautiful the venue and surrounding area is, and everyone loved that everything was all in one place. We were so impressed with how the team incorporated everything we’d discussed in our planning meetings and how smoothly everything went on the day. The room turnarounds were so speedy and appeared effortless and our guests were really looked after.The banqueting and evening team were also fantastic. The food was exceptional (we’re still dreaming about the pork belly that we had as our main course on the day!), and the team catered for all dietary requirements with no fuss at all.Thank you to everyone involved in our day. It really was amazing, and I wish I could give you all more than 5 stars on this review!

What can we say, we had the most amazing wedding day at the Kings Chapel in May 2023! From being able to get ready at the venue from 7am to having sole use of the pub until 2am - everyone just had the best day.The food was delicious and we had lots of compliments on how amazing the dinner was - we went for BBQ banquet style as we didn’t want the day to be too formal. All dietery requirements were catered for without a fuss including vegan, veggie, kids and pescatarian - we thought this was amazing as we’d heard stories from friends where venues have charged more for this but there was none of that at the KC.The coordinators were great and responded quickly to all our queries - they also understood the assignment for a colourful and fun day where we could play music at every point in the day which was really important to us.Overall everyone comments on how great our wedding day was, with everything on site and in one place it was such an easy and enjoyable day. Thank you to everyone that was involved!

Kings Chapel Amersham is honestly the most accommodative place to have your wedding! I had my Blessing ceremony & wedding reception here last month (August 20th 2023). It was the best day of my life, thanks to the wedding events team! Nothing was ever to much of an ask for them at all.King’s Chapel allow you to create a bespoke menu for your wedding breakfast if their choices aren’t to your taste. Being Nigerian, I had requested a cultural dish (jollof rice & plantain) to be prepared alongside some items from Kings Chapel’s menu, and the chef was so accommodating.Our guest gave a lot of compliments regarding how tasty the food was.My wedding coordinator Lillian went above and beyond to ensure the day ran as smoothly as possible. My blessing ceremony in the morning was very chaotic but Lillian was superb and was able to do the best she could to help the day move along accordingly. She helped ferociously to communicate what was expected as well as the proceedings clearly, amongst all the pressure.The venue itself is very beautiful and quaint. Lovely atmosphere for wedding photos with its lovely intricate interior chapel design. The bar and dance floor are right next to the main room, so everything is perfectly placed here. The Kings Arms onsite accommodation is great too! Convenient for the end of your big day!I can’t recommend this place enough. The staff are wonderful, the venue is wonderful & Amersham itself is a nice atmospheric town to be wed in.Amersham/Kings Chapel will always have a piece of my heart. I couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere else.

We had the perfect wedding here in June 2023. It’s the perfect setting for a personal, relaxed summer wedding with a garden drinks reception and a fab wedding breakfast.One of the best thing about Kings Chapel is that it’s a blank canvas and you can make it what you want. The Kings Chapel and the surrounding area offer some great photo opportunities and it’s a venue that was awesome in the sunshine but will work in the rain too.All of our suppliers had worked with The Kings Chapel before and most of them were from their recommended suppliers list, so the day ran seamlessly.Lara was allocated as our venue coordinator and we can’t praise her enough! She took the time to get to know us and what we wanted our day to be like. She was on hand throughout the planning process to answer our million questions and help iron out even the smallest of details. She also helped us secure two Indian meals from their partner restaurant, Hawkyns, to respect the cultural needs of two elderly grandparents. All other allergies and intolerances were easily catered for.Lara and her team were on hand throughout the day to ensure everything ran smoothly. We are grateful to the whole team at Kings Chapel for their help in making sure we had the best day.The only thing we would change was the evening food. The pizzas on the day were not the same high quality that we got on the open day so we were a little disappointed. There are however lots of other evening food choices to chose from.Overall we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kings Chapel to others.

We had our wedding in February and it was the best day EVER!!! From the support of the team, especially our personal coordinator Lara, to the hotel staff, everyone was fantastic! They were friendly, helped with all our questions, nothing was too much trouble. The food at the wedding was just gorgeous, we had so many compliments and my gluten free and vegan friends were catered for and had the same as us, so felt very included. The venue is beautiful, the hotel on the grounds is just lovely. My bridesmaids and I booked a suite the night before and the room on our wedding night was just gorgeous. I cannot recommend Kings Chapel highly enough, nothing went wrong and absolutely everything was right! Oh, and we could bring our dog!!! Thank you for making our wedding so utterly beautiful! X

If you are thinking of booking Kings Chapel for your wedding , absolutely do it! From start to finish the support, advice and help was incredible! We have formed such a bond with Kings and its charm and plan to visit annually to revisit our venue for dinner & drinks.A special mention to Lara our wedding coordinator, when we met she put us at ease and nothing was ever too much trouble - a huge support on the build up and on the day. Queries or questions were always answered efficiently and we built a great relationship.Every supplier we spoke too, couldn’t recommend Kings highly enough which is exactly what you want and everyone worked like one big team - it was seamless and gave a great vibe to our day.The food was incredible, everyone commented on this and especially one vegan guest who said they had never been so catered for before at a wedding - amazing. We had canapés which were delicious and Kings kept a separate board for Bride & Groom which was a lovely touch, the 3 course meal everyone commented on how incredible the food was but also the service was top notch, ticking off every guest as they went round each table and lots of servers which made everything smooth. We also had the wood fire pizza which went down such a treat at the end but of the night - delicious! & the gin bar which was beautifully put together with tonics, garnish etc.We also had a meal the night before which was sooooo good too, amazing top quality pub classics! We stayed at the Kings Arms the night before and our wedding day and made use of the late night bar too. It was so great to be able to spend breakfast with our wedding party too! These extra options were great to have.We would recommend Kings to anyone.Kings will always hold a special place in our hearts and we honestly had the best day! If we could do it again we would! Kings Chapel is simply amazing! It is really difficult to put in words how stunning is this place. Shoot there a wedding multiple times and everytime arriving there I get a boost of energy. Fantastic staff, beautifull venue, garden area and magnificent food. Simply amazing!

We had our wedding at the Kings Chapel in September 23, and our day could not have been more perfect!! The events team were wonderful, easy to contact and unfazed by any requests and changes, even last minute! Our coordinator Kiera was so helpful, friendly and offered more support than was even needed, I can’t say thank you enough! So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, how well things ran, and how great the food and service was. I wish I could give more than five stars, the perfect wedding venue and events team!
