Nice local park with two play areas. One recently refurbished to a high standard. Unfortunately, one has a sign on it stating for under 12s, which some teenagers seem unable to read and frequent it after dark as well as during the day. Has round wooded area with copious amounts of cherry trees and nature areas.

New playpark supposed to be for under 12s but currently swamped with lettering, swearing young teens jumping on and off of toddler climbing frames right next to my 2 year old. Massively disappointing and unsafe

Rambling grassy field & tree area, contained by fencing between the housing south of Ipswich Railway Station. Due to the top end bordering the Freightliner shunting yard, there are no exits & entrances along that stretch of path. There are numerous ways into & out of Gippeswyk Park, making it an alternative route for those seeking to avoid any traffic in this part of the town. However, it does just feel like a rat run for cyclists or short cut for those who know the town, it lacks the atmosphere of a proper park...

Local gangs will use it as a cut through part from that regular park play park just been redone for kids trying to bring life back to area

Beautiful park. Well maintained. One can enter from entry gate and come out at London road (for walkers or cycling ones).

Plenty of roadside parking if you enter via the residential side of the park.New play area is lovely and tons of space to run free with the added bonus of the nearby railway. The kids loved seeing the trains go by.Only taken one star away as the play area has a zip line running straight through the centre and when it's busy kids were getting knocked over by it. Not well thought out regarding safety.

Let's see, it was a beautiful sunny day and we went for a community day called Lark in the Park. First time back since lockdown so not upto it's full normal level but still a great day out with raffles, boot/side sales, music and loads more, it was still good.
