Lovely beautiful setting, brilliant talks and events, lots of choices of food, drink, big waterstones bookstore, well priced histoty festival, lots of demonstrations on how things work, lovely people all around, will be going back again

This was my third visit to the festival. The organization talks etc were as good as ever, and the extra outdoor stages were a great success. I found all the staff and volunteers extremely helpful and friendly. A particular mention to Gary and his security team. I am now less able to walk and brought my own mobility scooter. Gary went above and beyond to help me and make sure I was able to get around easily. A big thank you guys. Lynn :0}

Excellent day at the CVHF. 4 talks attended, highlight of the day Michael Morpurgo closely followed by Scotty Mills. Both inspirational speakers passionate about their subject.
