Gwendolen, Lingerie & Swim

With a rep to protect as a discerning teddy bear, I like my mummy to be discerning too. Even in the knicker and bra department!Seeking out a classy lingerie set we happened upon Gwendolen, Lingerie & Swim shop in St Albans.The light jazz and a beautiful vase of flowers as a centerpiece of this beautiful lingerie shop are second only to the wonderful welcome from Gwendolen and her staff. They seemed thrilled to have a teddy bear in store. Mummy was looked after and was very happy with her purchase, of a Lise Charmel bra and brief set, in navy blue.Carefully wrapped in tissue paper and then a ribboned box, it was lovingly lowered into a beautiful matching bag.I am a teddy bear that likes knickers that come wrapped in tissue paper. I only wish it wasn’t my mummy I saw wearing them!

Excellent and very knowledgeable personal service from Gwendolen. I went with my daughter recently to be fitted for her bridal gown and my mother of the bride outfit. Definitely would recommend without hesitation!

Fabulous gem of a place! It's not cheap but my goodness, the bras are magnificent and sooooo comfortable. I've never had bras like these, wish I'd discovered them years ago. Looked after by knowledgable and lovely staff.
