Fabulous outcome, rough journey.I [Female,20] recently got a haircut here and asked for Korean curtain bangs. I have gotten a haircut there before by the lovely lady (I believe her name is Katrina) who did a wonderful job, so I had high expectations. This time I was cut by a man (who works on Fridays), and I had a few issues with the cut. Firstly, he cut my fringe so that it was a bit different in length on both sides, and he seemed unfamiliar with how to style it. I tried to tell him to use a rounded brush and blow-dry the fringe upwards, but he slightly misunderstood me. He then proceeded to style it, and when I asked if he could do it differently, he seemed to get a tad irritated/impatient that I wasn’t super happy with the result. Katrina then came over and styled it, it looked great in the salon, but after I washed my hair, it was clear to me that it wasn’t even in length. A week later, I called them up and asked if I could get it touched up, and Katrina very kindly agreed to do that for me. She put a lot of effort into making it look very nice and exactly how I wanted, without charging me. I came out super happy with the result, but the journey wasn’t so smooth. The staff there are very kind, friendly and caring; they spent some time helping me look for an earring that I lost, and the cut itself was not too expensive. I would still rate this place well as the customer service is excellent, and I recommend Katrina as a stylist.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!I asked for a trim and split ends to be taken out and this is what they’ve done. i get married in 2 months and was growing my hair for a year!! Please avoid and save your money

I had an amazing experience at this salon. I have not had my hair cut in a very long time, and it is fair to say I was pleased with the results. The lady who cut my hair was very friendly and extremely communicative, making sure that my wishes are brought to fruition. Would totally recommend.

I go here twice a month. The barber that I go is named Max and he does an amazing job. The advantages over other salons in Mile End:1. Affordable prices (washing hair is included in the cutting price)2. Customer centric: I like the way how barbers are aware of the customer needs. They will trim the beard and hair edges so you will have the best haircut when you go out.3. Extremely polite and customer friendly services. It does not compare to other salons (and I went to three different salons in Mile End before deciding to stick with this one)4. Amazing and friendly stuff5. Easy process to book appointments when you call.

My hair has never looked as shiny as it is now since I started getting my hair done at this salon. Katrina really puts in the time and effort to listen on what I’d like to get done on my hair, I’ve never felt a rush and would feel at ease and comfortable. It’s worth my effort to travel across London for my appointments. Keep up the good work guys and girls!

Best in the city, customer service on point, friendly and welcoming. 15 years straight and not a single complaint. I trust no one to touch my hair except Simon and it has been like that for the last 15 years. Tried the others in the same shop when Simon was busy and I needed emergency hair cut. Well trained and very good but Simon is Simon, it's not just the cut, it's the love he gives and the conversations.

Absolutely love my haircut! Katrina has done an amazing job (as usual). She cuts my hair according to how I want it and does it to high standards. She always exceeds my expectations. I definitely recommend this place!

No words for how much i loved it. I went there for both my new hairstyles. One was for a layered bob or something from plain long hair and the other was for a boy cut. Absolutely loved both the ppl who serviced me. The second time it was an asian woman with blonde hair (idk her name) and she was amazing. I showed her pics of what i wanted and she gave me suggestions for how to specifically get it cut. She complimented me and was an amazing woman over all. The first pic is what i showed her and the second is what i got. Will keep going there now. An amazing place with truly affordable prices as compared to other salons with the same service

Elvin is absolutely marvellous, took his time to listen to what I wanted, made a few suggestions and it's gorgeous. Important to me is that I will be able to style it myself, brilliant cut, head massage at an excellent price! He will be my hairdresser from now on!
