Whitefield Forest Touring Park

Has been a while, pitched on a new section behind reception, sun all day, so ideal for drying when packing up. Usual facilities: Shower block (super clean and capacious) with good family and disabled facilities, washing areas and laundry. WiFi only on reception but mobile signal was all good. Surroundings are perfect for relaxing, the dog walk through the woods is a good distance too. They still have red squirrels, they are a rare spot, but worth the wait. Ideal location for pretty much anywhere on the east side of the island, supermarket just down the road, and you can be in Ryde, Newport or Shanklin in under 20 mins. So if you need a green reset, would recommend.

Visiting relatives on this site but it was lively. Showers, toilet facilities were spotless. Great walks for dog. Pitches well set out and electric and water facilities were great.

Cleanest campsite we have ever stayed at,very picturesque and quiet,services all first class,hot showers and immaculate loos and washing facilities.Superb Laundry room

Lovely woodland site. Good size pitches. Clean facilities. Great dog walk around the perimeter of the site.

Wouldn't even consider trying anywhere else on the island for tenting.TLDR: toilets and showers are immaculate, pitch areas are about 12x12 metres, most central location to visit most attractions on the island, extremely quiet except for birds, Tesco express just up the road.So the location turned out ideal for all sites we wanted to visit, except the needles and mottistone, which can be done together.The park itself is lovely and quiet, extremely well spaced out pitches, we were nowhere near our neighbours and rarely heard them, there's a lovely woodland walk around the whole park, with well spaced dog poo bins, ideal for a stroll or dog walk.The shower block was always clean, plenty of facilities to accommodate the size of the park, and even cubicles for teeth brushing or shaving, which I've never seen anywhere else.I actually couldn't pick a single fault with the place.

This was our second visit to Whitefield forest, a lovely site , set in woodland , very peaceful, lots of wildlife around the caravan, red squirrel's, woodpeckers and lots of birds. The facilities on site are superb, toilet block was exceptionally clean. Really handy for getting around the island by bus, as the bus stop is right outside the site, and the service on the island is great.

Very disappointed, the ad states woodland site. What didn't say was right next to a very busy road with traffic racing up and down and a wood yard with the chainsaws at 8 in the morning. The facilities were good, showers and toilets very clean and plenty of hot water. Washing up and laundry very good. Definitely not a peaceful site

This is our 3rd visit to Whitefield Forest campsite, previously with our trailer tent and this time with our Bell tent. As previously mentioned, pitches are spacious and well thought out. Toilets and showers are plentiful, modern and clean. Our daughter has recently moved to the island....so we shall see you again in September Whitefield Forest.

Superb site. Facilities are the best I've ever seen. Plenty of showers and loos which are all spotlessly clean. Nice size pitches and nicely laid out. Owners are very helpful. Only very minor gripe is a bit of noise from the busy nearby road but dont let this put you off. I'll definitely use this site again.

Lovely campsite excellent facilities set in ancient woodland with lovely dog walking trail.....warm and friendly welcome good location bus stop outside site garden centre serving food just up the road which is also next door to a huge tesco
