Morrisons Daily

This used to be a lovely well run village shop but since Morrisons took it over it has turned into a dump.Went in this morning to find fridge shelves virtually empty and then realised that 3 fridge doors were missing! Who is seriously going to buy meat from a fridge that has doors missing?Won’t go there again while Morissons continues to run it. I’d rather spend petrol money going to co-op in Kilgetty, knowing the shelves will be full and I won’t risk getting food poisoning from meat in damaged fridges.Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!

Rocked up at about 9:47pm on Sunday to get a few essentials to find the shop assistant in the final stages of closing up before the advertised time of 10pm. I went to the door to ask why early closing .. have they run out of supplies, is there a power cut or flood? He shrugs his shoulders, waves his arms around and says ‘we’re closed’. Well, indeed you are, but thats not really an answer and it’s wasted 20 min round trip for me. This is supposedly a convenience store…but for whose convenience…yours or mine? Can someone in management tell me what time the shop is reliably open until on Sunday, or if you can’t: change the Sunday advertised closing time to ‘until we feel like it’.

Lovely and friendly staff but a bit overpriced.

Friendly staff doing their best in an old building. Prices are typical for a convenience store but OK. e.g. picked up a nice bottle of red wine for £5.50. Ideal for essentials when on holiday.

It's convenient and the service is generally friendly. There is a post office on site which is a bonus.Plenty of parking.The layout is confused and definitely not designed with a customer's eye.The conversion from McColls to Morrisons was very poor and really underfunded by the company.At a local level the team need to work much harder at improving on shelf availability which is poor and will only improve through perseverance and relentless chasing.As of 11/07/22 there has been no improvement.As an example how can the Area Manager and Store Manager allow de- icer to be on sale in the middle of summer and in a prime selling location? See photo.Come on folks inspect your shop, open your eyes.

very welcoming and friendly staff fantastic customer service and always with a smile I go to my caravan during summer holidays and always use this local shop all food is fresh and great offers available and handy as it has a post office too

Dated and unorganised, useful location

Good little shop with everything you need & more if you can't get to a big supermarket, obviously everything is a bit more expensive but you have to expect that from a local shop. Postoffice is situated inside and a cashpoint outside.

Always friendly and very helpful staff
