Caulders Garden Centre Cumbernauld
I have been many times to Caulders and can mostly recommend the restaurant and shop.However, in the last few months, there seems to have been a slight slip in standards by some of the young girls that are serving in the restaurant. This mostly seems to happen at weekends.By that I mean, drinks aren't served at the same time or quick enough after a cake is served in coordination to each other, thus having to wait or remind the staff that we are waiting on our drinks.I suspect this is down to inexperience with some of the girls, as pleasant as they always are.Other than that, it is a lovely place and we are regulars despite my slight niggles through observations of late.

had a lovely brunch with family. My granddaughter loved it. Very comfortable friendly place, with fab food. Did nit feel rushed, and enjoyed relaxing meal.

Lovely garden centre with lots of great gifts and healthy plants. Had lunch in the cafe and it was delicious. Had soup and sandwiches, coffee and cakes. Staff very attentive and friendly. Shame we aren't local or we would be back on a regular basis

Small but friendly garden centre.Well laid out and easy to get round.We happened to visit as they were preparing for Christmas (early November) so there weren’t many plants, but lots of Christmas things.The staff were friendly and helpful.We didn’t eat but the restaurant looked clean and inviting and smelt great.Pretty sure in summer you could get a broad selection of plants.Nice location and seems like the cafe was very popular with local people, which is always a good sign

Caulders Garden Centre Cumbernauld
We visited this place on the way home down the M80, just 5 minutes of the motorway.Really nice food. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. My partner ordered the burger (not my bag) I had a taste and it was the best burger I've ever tried. He was so full eating the scrumptious chunky chips he was determined to get the burger in but he was defeated he had to leave the lovely toasted bun.I had the potato skins topped with bacon cheese and mozzarella with a garlic dip. Soooo good. I wanted one of the amazing cakes on display but I couldn't fit one in as the main portions we ate are so generous.Will most definitely be visiting again when up that end of the country.

Nice little garden centre. Plenty of variety. Not too busy in the shop area, but the cafe has a great range of food, so is super popular. So much so you can book a table ahead.

Just back from Caulders Cumbernauld after having lunch with my son.. We have been there countless times having amazing food and cakes, but unfortunately this visit has been so disappointing! Paté was hard, toast stale and my sons burger and chips were cold!Drinks were also in chilled! Tables also lacked cutlery tooStaff were their usual lovely helpful selves! It seems to me they have opened up the back to make room for more customers, but, unfortunately it looks like the kitchen can't handle the amount of orders coming into them!I always speak highly and recommend Caulders for a lovely lunch, hopefully things will change soon x
