Liz Wan Photography

Liz has photographed a couple of important events for us, including a christening and a 1st birthday. She is great at putting people at ease and capturing those special moments without being intrusive. If you have specific photos you want taken she is happy to follow your instructions whilst equally happy to come up with her own, unusual and creative ideas. Liz is brilliant with kids as well as people who normally are shy in front of the camera. I'd highly recommend her!

I wrote a fuller review on the facebook page however just in case you haven't checked that out yet, I'd like to say how amazingly great the whole experience was with Liz photographing our wedding. She was very patient and attentive to our needs during the build up of the wedding, was frequently available and humoured our random questions. On the day she held a great combination of being visible yet quietly hiding in the background to capture quite intimate moments. This is immediately visible in our wedding photos (Ciara and Neil btw) and you can see the love and expression of our family and friends. Liz was also great post wedding, gave a clear timeline of when to expect delivery and even went above and beyond with a great photo video which still invokes great memories of the day when we watch it now :-) Thank you Liz, its been a great experience sharing our big day with you and consider you a friend and look forward to hiring you again in the future! P.S. Guys if you are reading this, one immense selling point is that my wife felt secure and confident in Liz's abilities - think of it as one less stress to deal with and as I'm sure you know is worth its weight in gold!

Liz is amazing to work with. I absolutely hate having my photo taken but Liz was really patient and put me at my ease straightaway. The photo I chose for my website is lovely - even I like it! Liz's photos are beautiful and really creative, and her prices are very reasonable. I'd definitely recommend her.

Liz photographed a wedding in our family recently and we were really impressed with her approach and the results. On the day, Liz was the ideal wedding photographer — always on hand (but unobtrusive), authoritative when required, conscientious and creative. We were pleasantly surprised by her care and concern for everyone at the wedding (not just the bride and groom) and her awareness of everything that was going on. She even found time to sensitively photograph me holding our newborn baby, a picture that we intend to use on thank you cards for our friends and family.Perusing the wedding photos afterwards has been wonderful — they provide a thorough record of the day with an array of special moments captured beautifully, many that we weren't aware of at the time and others that we can't believe Liz was quick enough to snap! Every opportunity for a picture was taken full advantage of in ways that go well beyond the expected and obvious, making the photos really precious. We know the newlyweds are really pleased with their pictures too — as they should be. We thoroughly recommend Liz Wan!

It's the attention to detail that we really loved. Liz tried to find out as much information as she could about us and our families, so that she could tailor the photos of our wedding to suit our personalities.So before the day there was a lot of work done by Liz to work out how she was going to approach the day. On the day she absolutely captured everything that happened really well, with the full emotion and feelings being reflected in the photos. After the day Liz made sure that we were satisfied and helped us design a wedding book which looks absolutely wonderful.We cannot recommend Liz highly enough, she is totally professional, friendly and has a great sense of fun. Basically, Liz is very good at what she does, don't hesitate to hire her.

Liz's photos are the best. The documentary style photos totally captured the atmosphere of our wedding, and the group shots/portraits are really lovely too - she made us all look great! She's really personable - the consultations before were really helpful as she took the time to get to to know us as a couple. All of my friends and family love the photos too.

One of the first things that impressed us about Liz is how incredibly welcoming, organised and hard working she is from the moment you first connect with her. It is a customer service dream! Your communications are answered promptly and efficiently with nothing being too much trouble.Also, Liz made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera that she managed to capture our personalities meaning we have incredible pictures of our special day.Additionally, Liz is bursting with creative ideas, which is great if you are artistically challenged like us.Not only is Liz is an extremely talented photographer, (just look at her work), her professionalism, attention to detail and customer service make her hands down the best in the business.
