I only ever go to the play area and have a coffee and for that purpose it's fine! Cheap and cheerful hour or so and decent coffee. Small enough to let a preschooler go around without worrying theyll be squashed or lost - they don't allow bigger kids to go in, unlike some soft plays.

Great visit to the Wacky. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the time in the play area.Worth considering for a kids party.

We come here when the kids need to burn some energy. No need to pre book, food is ok and the soft play is large and clean. Exactly what we need /want when the kids need to burn energy off for an hour. We are local so that helps as well

Had to ask for manager as attended for play with my children ages 2, 4 and 7. It’s my sons birthday and he broke up from school for half term yesterday. Unfortunately we wasn’t admitted in to play as they only had under 5s play on today because they only recognise half term starting tomorrow and that “they’ve had signs up about it”. I advised he would be no trouble but they said they would “get complaints if they let in a 7 year old”. Well instead of a complaint they wouldn’t have received from the people I could see there they’ve got a poor review. A 7 year old not being allowed in a play area is the most ironic thing I’ve ever heard. They said we could come after 3pm. So for people with kids of varying ages they’d have to be all under 5 and preferably twins. We came at 10am as we wanted our 4 year old with additional needs to feel he can play without they place too busy. Just two staff staring at my 7 year old and muttered “sorrehh”. Considering the play area has sectioned off areas for different ages surely is suffice, or maybe they just have the signs for decoration. They said “mini mcgees will be the same” which is interesting as I’m sat in there right now writing this review. Absolutely delighted for you Phantom Winger that in the probably 30 years I’ve know the building that they are now doing so well that they just turn people way. Food always below average and I’ve never seen less eager or helpful staff in my life. We went to the restaurant the other day when they only had two mains on the menu left as they was “switching to a new menu” of course they were. Always excuses from “computer says no” staff members. Staff from my experience are no help and are given no customer service training in any field which is insane speaking to people of all ages all day. Anyway they’ve had two chances and I’m sure they won’t miss anyone’s custom but soon the reviews will back up the experiences new custom will get. Here’s a photo enjoying a coffee in minis with okay my kids play and cause no disruption to any other paying custom. This dystopian world where the doors are now open but kids can’t pay to play. Absolutely hilarious

This place is really not worth going to. We paid for 2 children and it was £10. For this price we expected some decent play equipment, a lively atmosphere with music in the background that was upbeat and that the toilet facilities would be child friendly. Apart from one of the sinks in the toilets being lower down for children to reach, we did not find anything convenient here. Having been to many indoor play venues over the last 5 years, I can hands down say that this was the second worst that I have been to ever!!We ordered food which was good.....as expected from a Hungry Horse pub eatery but it was expensive in comparison to food in other similar pubs. All in all, I think Wacky Warehouse needs to have a total revamp to make people actually want to come back.....I for one will not be taking my kids back again.

Ok if it’s raining and you need to pass an hour with kids. Not always staffed properly and can be a long wait for any food/drinks.

Ok typical pub but it does have a wacky warehouse for young children. Just by m6 junction 32 for Broughton.

Food cold and inedible and took forever to arrive we had to chase it up numerous times. Place was filthy, music was unbearably loud non of us could hear each other shouting sat next to each other. Run by teenagers who glared when I complained, then turned the music up even louder! Given cup of tea but nowhere to put the bag, no milk or sugar had to ask. When food eventually arrived we had no cutlery, asked the teens who gave us dirty ones with a glare. Toilets broken, stank and filthy definitely not been cleaned in a long time. Furniture scruffy and dirty. 3 teens stood behind counter chatting, tables not cleared and floors not swept. Place needs a big overhaul with new staff, not worth the price you pay. Never going back again.

Visited with my 2 year old yesterday, saw admission to wacky warehouse was £4 for term time between 9am-3pm, we visited 12pm, the woman then charged me £5 for general admission, which was the price from 3pm onwards, when I questioned her, she said that's term time price, I replied it is term time! The kids are in school, she looked at me and proceeded to walk away, worst customer service I've ever experienced. We then ordered food and it came luke warm after paying almost £30 for 2 adults and a kids meal, will not be returning
