Budget Car Hire - London Luton Airport

Really efficient friendly and helpful. No problems at all. Can leave deposit on debit card. No forcefully selling of insurance. A pleasure to deal with. Don’t get caught out be ‘green motion’ or any of those other scam companies.

Booked a rental through rental car and paid the amount requested. When I went to pick the car up I was handed a contract showing a nil outstanding balance. In fact they owed me a few pence as I requested to pay in sterling but got billed in Euros. When I picked the car up I said I would return it full. A charge of £2.62 against the pump price of £1.18 is certainly steep.I filled it up at the filling station about 2 minutes away. When I got back to the depot I insisted that the person checking in cars did his inspection while I was present. At another renter in the past they made a retrospective charge for damage I was supposed to have done to a wheel trim.I agreed with the individual that the car was returned undamaged. I also pointed out that the tank was full. I was asked to sign a receipt that was subject to audit. Checking my credit card account today I noticed that they charged me £12 for fuel and the rental charge had also increased by £4.67.I will certainly be contesting these charges. What a rip off.

Excellent experience! We were checked in over the phone the day before, so spent less than 5mins picking the car up. Nearly new MG & very clean. Took some photos of a few small scratches not listed on the contract - just in case. Return was quick, no issues. Only complaint is its a bit hard to find the bus to the rental center (Luton airports fault)!

Budget Car Hire but non-budget car and service! Definitely one of the fastest and easiest we ever revted a car. We got there and the car was already ready and good to go, we just payed the daposit and got the keys. We got a Mercedes instead of a Citroën which was quite nice. The car was clean and had lots of extras. We returned the car just by giving back the keys, the deposit was returned within time and the staff was always very friendly and fast! The shuttle to the airport was convenient and there are toilets at the car hire. Highly recommend!

Amazing rental car company!!!No problems with using a debit card, the cars are super clean and brand new and The Staff is super Helpfull.

This branch will try to scam in whatever way they can. They act friendly and relaxed, trying to lure you in a false sense of security, but don't be fooled.They charged me 65 pounds as a cleaning fee and their proof was a bit of dust on the car. This seems to be a popular scam.If you have to rent with them, when picking up the car, check everything with a representative, take pictures of everything yourself and then when dropping off do the same. Make sure you receive a written statement from them that the car is OK, both for pick-up and drop-off.

If I can I will leave ZERO star, it is worst experience for me, We rent the car for three days, when we return the car, we forgot our luggage inside car. After one hours we realized then we went back there to ask about the luggage but staff said the car took for wash, they don't know when the car will be back, and will give me call, if find anything. I waiting and waiting, no one call me, then I been there again, they said nothing in the car(we 100% sure the luggage in the car) and the car is not here anymore, should call back tomorrow to find out. Second day we call back again, we still not find my luggage... Anyway useless and helpless staff, threating customer, normally very simple thing, they make so complicated. Don't use them service, because they are not honestly.

we really had a very good experience with Budget" staff in luton airport. Mr. Saff was very polite and friendly while renting the car. we got an efficient anf proffesional service. Mr. Pedro was on duty when we brought the car two weeks later. He was very proffesional

I had the most amazing experience. The gentleman I dealt with was Valentine. He was very friendly, informative and couldn't do enough to help me as my own personal car had broken down and I needed to hire one to get to work. He made my whole experience a calm and less stressful one. Thank you Valentine and Aydin. I'd highly recommend this company.

I used budget car hire in September, I booked through Ryan air, excess insurance through blue insurance. Was quick at desk, no problems had a nice car. It was dark when we picked it up so rang in any damage early next morning.
