Within a month of working with Cat, we have made great progress with our reactive, anxious dog. Cat’s approach has helped us calm the anxiety, and manage the reactiveness. We still have a long way to go, but in just a short time the difference is noticeable and walks are far less stressful for us, and doggo! Highly recommend Cat.

Really pleased to have found Cat. Her knowledge and understanding of dogs, their unique qualities and natural habits have taught me how to understand my puppy more. Really enjoy the time taking her out for walks and incorporating the training, which all makes sense. Cat's online tutorials are easy to follow and are a super resource to have on hand. Finding the 121 sessions very worthwhile, as Cat gets to know you, your dog and what works for you both. Highly recommend Cat at Valley Dogs.

I am having a very positive experience with Cat at Valley Dogs. I went for the 121 classes as I was struggling with my dog’s recall. Cat made training fun for both myself and my dog, and as a result I’m a lot less and building in the relationship we had developed. Still a fair bit of work to be done on his behaviour, but we are most certainly heading in the right direction!Cat is very professional, she has given me lots of useful tips and I’d trust my dog with Cat 100%. I would highly recommend Valley Dogs to anyone.

I've just finished a 10 week block of puppy classes with Cat, and I couldn't recommend her enough. The games and exercises she teaches will set your puppy up with real life skills and the ability to cope with different situations, rather than focussing on 'obedience'. Her classes were really varied, and good fun to attend for humans as well as pups.Cat is incredibly patient and understanding. My puppy initially struggled to be in the class environment - Cat was so accommodating and changed the set up of the hall to give him his own space to help him settle better. After a couple of weeks he was much more relaxed and able to chill around the other puppies, which was amazing to see.

Cat is an excellent trainer and we're really pleased to have found her after our vet recommended her. We were having issues with recall and excitability with our two retrievers and they've come on leaps and bounds having done sessions with Cat. There is no judgement and we've all really enjoyed the games she's taught us.

My cairn terrier was so stressed meeting dogs on her lead she became reactive. I took her to the bootcamp class. By the second class she was managing to pay attention to the games and not worry about the other dogs. I am so glad we joined the Valley Dogs community.

I worked with Cat over a period of 4 months, purely online, with all our sessions done via video call and I thoroughly recommend her. When we started, I had a very excitable young spaniel who since hitting adolescence had gone a bit wayward. I was really struggling with recall and general engagement - he would be looking to chase everything (including a blowing leaf). Cat taught us lots of tricks and games to build on our relationship and as a result, it has not only drastically improved his behaviour but also my understanding of his breed. He is now great to have off the lead, walks so much better on the lead and has given me the tools I need to carry on with his training.

We have had a few 1-2-1 lessons with Cat and joined some of her social walks because our dog was a bit reactive with other dogs and it was becoming hard for us to deal with. Cat was brilliant at giving us on-lead coping/diversion strategies and helped us to gradually give our dog positive associations with other dogs. It's a work in progress but already she is happier around other dogs and has even had some really friendly play sessions with some. Well worth it and we picked up some great tips about lead walking at the same time.

As a first time dog owner I needed some guidance on some basic training around loose lead walking and boundaries. Cat has been fantastic, tailoring the training each week to my dog and me and giving us plenty to work on for the next session! I used to dread walking my dog on the lead and it's now a pleasure! Would definitely recommend!
