This place is the worst pub I've ever visited. Ok if you like to mix with rough people and geriatrics. Badly managed, the staff are rude and clicky. The landlady cares only about existing customers that put a lot of $ in the till. A very judgement old lady, picks out her friends and has no time for newcomers. Discards people she doesn't like the look of. Nightlife is karaoke on a Friday which doesn't have a good quality system. The band/artists on a Saturday leave a lot to be desired. Wouldn't go to Masons arms if they were offering free beer every day for the rest of my life.

Locally used pub that was given a make over a few years ago, but has now gone a bit down hill, it doesn't take advantage of the passing train commuters by opening longer and serving take away coffee. Sometimes shut during days of the week.

This is a traditional public house, during my last visit, I was there because on a Sunday evening it was Karaoke night. It was also the last night for the currant land lady. Under new management not sure of the changes that will ne made.

Beautiful Sunday dinner as always, lovely and clean, Fab staff, great owner, great atmosphere, definitely the best Sunday lunch around xx
