Ran out of most items on the menu (including cream teas), no breakfast options and we there in the morning. Charged different prices to the menu and generally awkward/unfriendly staff

Lovey little coffee shop with a nice aesthetic and yummy homemade cakes. Kids loved their babyccinos. Will definitely go again.

Go elsewhere folks.2 mugs of luke warm coffee. They were so cool they had to be drunk immediately.2 milkshakes tasted like nesquik- very artifical. £4.25 each.We kept quiet about the milkshakes but we mentioned the cool coffees to a member of staff. He mumbled something and shuffled off. We hoped someone would come and talk to us but after 10 mins no one showed so we left as we had a lunch reservation (elsewhere thank goodness!).Bill was £16-17 from memory. At least we didn't have any lunch!

Great little cafe.Good variety on the menu.Tasty food.Great coffee.Doggo friendly, inside and outside.Fabulous location, perfect pit stop after a river walk.

Poor breakfast.I opted for the largest breakfast that they had to offer... This consisted of 1 poached eggs, 2 piece's of fatty low quality bacon, 2 small and skinny sausages, 4 vine tomatoes and a pot of watery beans. This cost £6.95. for a round of toast was an extra £1.75.Service was very friendly.

Nice coffee etc but the staff are quite unfriendly. Some people came in as they were closing and only offering takeaway and the guy said 'we are only doing takeaway now sooo...' - just very moody and rude. Wouldn't recommend based on this. My friend also got this vibe.

So I asked for a bacon sandwich and egg and they only do poached egg on toast.They wouldn't just put an egg on the bacon sandwich, it's not rocket science.Guess I won't be coming here again.Unfortunately Lutzy's was shut or I would of gone there.

Went here for coffee’s and something for breakfast. Coffee and food was nice (I had poached eggs with avocado, can’t fault that one bit)However the girl who served us couldn’t have looked less interested if she tried! Totally miserable and quiet as a mouse.My partner asked if she could have a smaller version of what I was having, due to her stomach operation (she can’t eat very big portions) and we were told that this wasn’t possible. However I was served 2 pieces of toast & 2 poached eggs. Was it really that difficult to just do one piece and one egg for her?The two chaps who were also working were lovely though, and were very pleasant.

Excellent poached eggs on toast. Lovely location on Exeter quay, facing the canal basin.
