Popped in for a refill for 13.5kg Propane gas bottle and, despite me having an empty bottle to return, they wanted to charge me £59.98 for it. I eventually got it in B&M for £29.99 which shows this garage prices were a total scam. Glad I walked away, shame on you Esso.

24hrs but not really, can randomly be locked at 3am with no sign or anything stating back in 5 mins etc. Employees need the rest room sure but at least put a brief note on the door of a rough time estimate.

Stopped here the other day to fill up my tyres with air. The air and water pump was of an old design with only coins accepted.So I went to take cash out to find it's a chargeable cash machine. I went inside to ask if they do cashback and I was told yes. I shopped around to find what I wanted then when I went to pay she said oh sorry I didn't know what you meant but I can't give you money back. She didn't even know what cashback was, so obviously not been trained to a decent enough standard.The ship was pretty small and was all over priced for what was on sale!The only good things I can say is that its fuel prices were good compared to some other Esso stations and it's open 24hrs so only the 2 starts unfortunately.

Visited shop Tuesday 5th July 2022. Bought 1 litre of grahams whole milk. When i took the milk home and went to use it i noticed white bits floating at the top and it smelled sour.I returned the milk to the store and explained to the young man the milk was sour and pointed out the bits floating at the top. He quickly became combative and argued with me saying the milk was ‘in date’ and asked me to prove I bought the milk from him.. knowing full well he doesn’t offer receipts and despite him serving me the milk the same day.I also saw what I believe to be milk on the counter that was use by 5th… that day.I then showed him my online banking to prove the purchase. He then reluctantly agreed to swap the ‘sour’ milk for ‘fresh’ milk.In my opinion this young man was very unprofessional, rude and dismissive.I won’t be back.

The only place in my area to drop off yodel parcels but their printer and machines are never working. Staff are rude and unhelpful

Nice bright service station. Fuel prices competitive with other outlets. Friendly staff on duty at the time I visited. Nectar points available.
