Fantastic service, from initial conversation, then choosing the right options (with no hard sell) and then getting my solar panel fitted. Colin explained every step and I came away feeling confident I understand what i had got and how to use it. Five star service all the way.

Superb service from Colin who most definitely knows his stuff. Great to see working displays of all the available set ups and chat through options at the site. Great comms throughout the day as the install went ahead and after a couple of days away in the van I wish I had installed solar much earlier it’s a complete game changer. All in a great service and super product.

Solar Shack specified and installed a solar system on our VW California. We are very satisfied with the outcome and also enjoyed the process, learning a lot about panels and batteries along the way. Colin and his daughter did a really tidy and professional solar installation to our camper. They are really knowledgeable and passionate about solar. And the price was very competitive. Well worth a trip to Ashington, we had a pleasant stay at the parkup by the lake the night before, and a day at the seaside in Newbiggin whilst it was being fitted. Highly recommended.

Returning customer!Colin originally fitted a 390 watt solar panel kit to the roof of my van (a first ever size panel for this style of van I believe!). He also installed an MPPT charge controller and Bluetooth monitor. I have been absolutely delighted with its performance over the last year. Never once has my battery ran short (even in the winter months). I have now returned and had an inverter fitted. The fitting is clean and neat and once again I am delighted with the standard of work.
