To my taste my take away meal of fish and chips was overcooked. Batter was dark brown and excessively hard. Chips also very dark in colour. Another shop nearby,I would give that a try.

Hear ye, hear ye, gluten free at no 10 , no more traipsing to Coleman’s at South Shields, or Longsands at Tynemouth, quality delicious GF crispy batter and tasty cod right here in Morpeth on Saturdays, you can sit in or take away , thoroughly recommended.Well done Neal, 10 out of 10 at no. 10.

I recently purchased fish and chips from here. They were the best fish and chips I have ever tasted! The service was outstanding too. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back again soon!

Styrofoam container meant chips tasted of plastic when i got home . Cheese pattie burnt / nuked beyond recognition . Went in the bin . Won't be back. Now that youve bothered to reply i can happily state i am not tall nor do i wear glasses or drink alcohol ! If you cant get the basics right dont bother .PS i posted 2 photos so yeah there were chips

Always stuck for choice when I come in! However, the foods always beautiful -don’t think I’d go to any other chippy. The staff are always lovely and down to earth

This used to be a great place to eat. I believe it changed ownership in early 2023 and it was never the same. Chips are bad, hard and cold. Over priced and small portions. Even the a dog wouldn't touch it? Young kids serving without personality. Batter was best part of meal

From the outside interior and black T shirts and uniformed staff all looking good. Ordered haddock and enquired if it would have the 'skin' on. Staff member said yes. I was asked if 5 minutes waiting time I was okay with this. Served up with overcooked chips. The frying fat was old and should have been thrown out. I sat in given metal knife and fork. The fish was tasteless and most definitely frozen. Won't be returning. Shame seems a well organized business. It sounds that the one off customer is well and truly being told off but I now know never to be repeated. End off.!!
