If I could I would give no star at all I would. If you notice any issues with the car take it back straight away! Give them one chance to put it right as by law, but then check in reputable garage if in fact fixed-as they really do not do the job! Then do not give them chances to fix afterwards just return the car as they will drag the case over six months and then wash their hands of it! As dodgy as they come and they don’t sell cheap cars so beware! Ah -and don’t get extended warranty as not worth the paper written on! Stay well away from the seller if you don’t want to pay lots to fix the car! I ended up with 3 issues and not being able to drive the car for over 6 months and ended up paying for the last two over £2k so please please read the review before going there at all.

I bought a car for over £15000. After having it a few days it had faults when it was returned all I got was use the the warranty company. I bought the extra cover which turned out was not worth the paper is was written on. It also seemed like the garage warranty from them they were not interested in using. We took the car to a variety of garages to give advice and help with our case . CJS dragged it out saying they were not interested. They are not part of any governing bodies so your complaint s will fall on deaf ears. All in all a very disappointing and stressful time. Resulting in some very costly repairs.I’m happy to post all all emails and letters onto online forums along with recordings of our conversations so others can make there own mind up

i recently purchase a Land rover discovery from CJS, overall the transaction was very easy and i felt no pressure throughout the transaction from the sales staff. Since driving the car i have experience a couple of issues with the car, the support has been excellent from the team, the car was fixed as you expect, with no cost to me. If you want a non pushy approach to buying a car. i found CJS ticks all the boxes.. Toby
