My daughter and I are staying here as I type. And we love it!! We had an absolute delicious dinner! I feel guilty for not leaving a tip!! But we'll be having breakfast and I'm sure that will be just as delicious. So I'll be leaving a tip then. The staff are wonderful and very pleasant. Our room is cosy and perfect. Chilled atmosphere. The Swan Inn is our last port of call before heading home. So glad I booked when I did.Pete.

Found this pub after visiting stonehenge and seeking somewhere for a late lunch, very welcoming staff, dog friendly, the food was excellent at a reasonable price and the portions generous, carpark across the road remember to book your car in with the screen at the bar. We would highly recommend this pub.

What can we say an amazing stay . Rooms are lovely comfy and clean . Food was amazing all of us enjoyed everything off our plates and service was perfect nothing was too much trouble. Was a lovely stay for me and my family will def be coming back again and again ☺️

Messed up our booking. Booked for 7:45 when we arrive the kitchen had closed. Pretty silly mistake ruining our evening.Edit for Craig: Unfortunately that is not the case, I booked my table at 2pm where the booking was taken for 7:45pm. I did not turn up at 7:50 and try to book a table at the door and you know this as you tried to tell me my booking was at 7:30. No apology was given nor any understanding for my evening was shown hence the review. All you have tried to do is blame the mix up on myself and have now lied in your reply.

Stumbled upon this lovely dog friendly pub after trying 3 others in the area which were closed. Travelled to meet my Mum for lunch, me from Hampshire her from Taunton. Very warm welcoming staff, delicious, fresh, hot food. Would recommend.

Rude staff / owner / avoidI have been using this as a stop off on the way for Cornwall for several years. I thought it was a good place. Has a riverside outdoor seating area for the kids and dogs. Turned up today and a really rude man shouted at us for having dogs. No signs saying they're not allowed and it's never been a problem before, In fact it actually states that its dog friendly on their website. The Place has become ratty anyway with trash strewn all over the place. It's gone down hill majorly since the last visit.

Can thoroughly recommend the Swan Inn. Friendly welcome. Decent selection of food and drink whether you want a quick bite passing through or a more formal dinner.The garden area looked very welcoming too although it was a tad wet today for us to sit outside.Good portion sizes and great quality.Thank you.

Lovely place with lovely tipples, me and the Mrs were travelling to see friends and decided to stop by to bury our snouts In some pub grub.We were most pleased with our deliciously prepared cheesy chips and wonderfully poured pints of Heineken. They've got one of those Heineken taps with the frost on the outside, which is a lovely detail and really makes you savour the flavour.Alas, the pub is on a busy main road so be careful when crossing over toward the riverside benches. Look left look right before you say goodnight!

Nice food and good value for money, friendly service. Forgot a meal so it came out 15mins later but they refunded the meal. Steak in the sandwich very grizzly and about 50% not edible.
