Spring Pools

Stunning little lake of mixed fish with specimen lakes behind, very well stocked with quality fish upto around the 15ib mark but I found mainly 3lb - 6lb and had a very large haul margin fishing, would be ideal for teaching children and novices as no doubt about it a great day will be had by all. A very well cared for lake with astro turf on sloping walkways and decking pegs for safety and comfort!

Lovely place for a good days fishing. 41 fish and 6 species later, it was time for dinner!

4 of us just did 24 hrs here at Spring Pools. Absolutely loved it. Steve met us when we arrived, lovely bloke. walked down the pegs, all of which are kept very nice n tidy inc mat, sling & net on each. the lake itself is very nice water to fish lots of small carp at mo to keep u busy but also some good size carp to test yr fishing.very quiet, just how we like it.Thanks again Steve we will be back.

Steve the owner looks after the welfare of the fish really well ,the fishery is one of the best around, never had a bad weekend there, well done steve

Spring Pools is a stunning fishery in newton rugby 3 lakes on site 1 specimen wild looking estate lake weedy and challenging and known challenge spot to some celebrity fisherman not a day water overnights onlyThe use of free onsite barrows nets mats slings and weight lifting aids to ensure the best possible care of the specimen fishKnown target fish in the 30lb catagories including grass carp common carp mirror carp and i believe a few catfish or so im toldBanks are soft and filled with bark so pegging bivvies down is no trouble and limited pegs due to small lake so pre booking is vital but worth it the lakes arent massive but they are worth a visit absoultely stunningSpring pool even has a cabin shelter with cooking equipmennt and seating insideYou must truly go and see for yourself and speak to steve the owner for more info hes very helpful and so far the best fish care ive seen from a fishery 5 stars

Steve the owner is a fantastic guy welcoming to the fantastic place we went has a group of 4 and the weather was not great got cold at nite and most of the weekend and only 1 lovely looking mirror carp came out from my cousin

Really good fishery always well stocked and perfect for a day fishing carp up to 15lb and plenty of roach,barbel,bream and tench. Closed from October 31st to March 12th. Carp lake open all year round.

A good days fishing on the bottom pool, mainly small carp to 4lbs , but my colleague did have 2 X 13.5lb carp towards the end of a 9 hour session, nice setting.
