Sips Eco Panels

We have had experience of working with Sips Eco Panels as both an Architect and Client, on our own house roof extension. We highly recommend this company, firstly from an Architectural aspect, as they are easy to deal with during the design development process and always willing to clarify queries. Their technical team are fantastic to work with as they assisted us in a not so standard design, which turned out exactly as shown on our drawings!The experience we had on site, as a Architect and Client was also exceptional. The reason SIPS were specified on our urban site in London, was to minimise time on site and also the site had very restricted access, and the use of SIPS panels was favoured. The site was very difficult to work on but their design team and installers did an amazing job. The most difficult jobs and tightest sites are definitely the most rewarding, once built!!!We have since specified Sips Eco Panels on schemes which are currently in Planning, and we sincerely hope to work with them again. If you are considering using this company, think no more and get in touch with them. Architects are probably one of the most difficult Clients to please, and we are very happy.

I used this company to supply my new extension. When the drawings were signed off, they provided me with a window schedule and confirmed that I could order windows so as not to have a 12 week wait to be water tight after the structure was erected. On installation of the windows, it turned out that one of the (very large) windows was too large for the opening so I had to spend £2500 on a replacement, and was unable to get a refund on the original as it had already been made.I have to say that the ‘customer care’ provided by Sips at this point was non-existent, they refused to accept responsibility, saying that I had signed off the drawings, even though they had provided me with confirmed window measurements. They made a derisory offer of £500 which they withdrew when I refused to accept it. They have not engaged in any contact with me since then.My advice would be if you are a self-builder like me, is not to trust them and employ a separate engineer to check all their drawings, at your cost. Not something that should be necessary when you pay for a ‘design service’ such as they provide – surely the windows should fit………I am absolutely disgusted with the way I have been treated and would advise anyone else to go elsewhere or please tread very carefully if you choose to do business with this company, they were great in the early stages but god help you if anything goes wrong once you have paid them all the money.VERY DISSAPOINTING

Bought my SIPS Kit from these guys and can't recommend them highly enough! The team were so helpful and bent over backwards to accommodate me. The installation team they sent out were extremely fast. I will definitely use again, exceptional service.

From start to finish this was one of the best services I’ve ever received. From the initial planning to the drawings and the end result. I cannot fault this company. Their customer service, product quality, efficiency and end result were second to none. I would highly recommend this company for any of your building needs.

We have been buying panels from the company for the last five - six years. Martin Cook and his team are providing an excellent customer service every time we deal with them. Under the new company ownership the panels were supplied very fast. I'm really happy with their approach towards business and the attention to detail when specific needs are highlighted by the customer.

We have been extremely impressed by Matt and his team at Sips Eco Panels. Communication has been excellent, from design through to delivery. The speed of turn around and quality of the product has impressed the whole team. This meant we saved time and labour costs. I will definitely be working with Sips Eco Panels again in the future.

Martin and Nicola have been great since they took over from the last owners. All of our concerns and issues were dealt with, and we was able to continue with our extension. We had a small problem with the delivery, which was due to the delivery company arriving a day early (better than a day late!) and incomplete, however SIPS arranged for the delivery of the outstanding items a few days later, and the build was able to be completed without a problem.The kit went together well, and we hope to use Martin on the next stage of our extension in a few years time.Tony Wood - West Sussex

A huge word of caution about this company - they went bust last year with £-000,000 hundreds of thousands of pounds of losses, including thousands we had paid in a deposit which the liquidators have indicated to us we are highly unlikely to see a penny of again.They then resumed operation with a new company name from exactly the same premises and a very similar name, having wiped their debts clear but leaving their customers in the lurch.The service we had from Sips Eco Panels was in case incredibly unreliable with firm promises about delivery dates repeatedly missed.It may be that under Martin and Nicola's" new ownership that things have improved
