Never been to a worse bus station in my life, 24hr station no facility to get a hot drink as the machine never works & no cafe open, vending machines take your money for snacks but give you nothing, toilets disgusting & charge 30p absolutly awful.

Your toilet machine stole me 5 p, I was charged 35 p instead of 30 p when it's supposed to be free!

Wanted to say a thank you to the woman who helped me get onto the coach after I missed my other coach by a minute. She was very kind and helpful!! If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t had been able to get on the next coach. She was very understanding!! (Birmingham coach station)

First and hopefully my last experience of using this coach station and their coaches. There is a 30p charge to use the toilets, payment via coins only. Even with a charge the toilets were disgusting, water everywhere on the floor! Driver was unhelpful, could not be bothered to help sort out why our seats were not reserved when I showed him clearly stating that on my tickets, he was not very knowledgeable and wrongly informed me that my seats were reserved for return even though it stated outbound, when questioned he said he didn’t know what outbound meant! Just felt like he didn’t want to speak to me even though I was so polite to him, wonder why…so we were left out of pocket, yet to hear about a refund.

Birmingham is a badly laid out city with no central bus station, no linked up public transport and no people to help you navigate.Birmingham coach station is no exception - its awful.Situated at the bottom of a hill in a dodgy part of the city, it is surrounded by run down shops that closed 20+ years ago and closed junk food shops. There were some beautiful Victorian buildings in the area currently being demolished - which is sad to see. This location is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Many people were struggling with suitcases to get up the hill to the town centre. I did not have luggage and as a reasonably fit 40 something my lower back was hurting. Eventually you get to the Bullring shopping centre. The coach station its self has very little to offer. There is a Whistle Stop Shop that sells pop for £2.49 a can!!! Along with other rip off prices. There is also a costa and an upper crust. But, if you exit at the middle door (through the waiting room) and turn right there is a ltlle shop where cans of pop are £1 and bottles £1.25 plus plenty of food and snacks at reasonable prices. There are some smelly toilets at 30p (you need exact change). But you can use the ones in the baby changing rooms for free if you are desperate. There is an unmanned information desk and a real time display screen that does not update the boarding gates until about a minute before your coach leaves. The general practice is to look out for your bus number about 30 minutes before you leave and join the queue. There is a sign for taxis at the front of the building but dont espect to find any due to roadworks. You have to go to the oppersite end to ring one. No taxi numbers available or freephone points so you have to google one.

You need 30p to access the toilet! But, there's a shop to get fast food. The staff are the best of the place. Helpful, friendly & professional staff. They acted restlessly to guide people around. Helping people at the last minute. Ensuring everybody arrives at their destination safely & comfortably. From the staff at the information desk to the Amazing Meena, who's a life saver! The driver was helpful and polite, as well. Honestly, they deserve every appreciation. Chapeau!

Very negatively impressed to see that to use the toilets you need to pay 30p in cash (only), except if you are a disabled person (for whom it is free of charge). So, if you do not have cash, this facility does not offer a toilet for you. In my opinion, that is terrible!
