I'm a repeat customer. Excellent service as always from the Chelmsford store, who were happy to spend a long time discussing my requirements and the best solutions to fit my budget, as well as offering a very fair trade-in on some of my older kit. As a consequence I've invested in a new mirrorless camera body (Canon R7) plus 2 lenses. Highly recommended.

Went in there today one chap dealing with a very long-winded customer, lady there ignored us completely even went back later and he was still dealing with same customer and again we were ignored by the lady. Not a good way to be with potential customer.

I'm thrilled, thank you for such a speedy delivery, fantastic quality and reasonable price, can't tell you how happy this has made me.

New camera prices are fair, staff are photography enthusiasts. Used kit prices are high and come tested and with a warranty, so one takes one's choice of buying new or used. It's my first point of call for my photography needs and if I can possibly do so, I buy from there. Support your local shops if possible !!!Saturdays can be busy, so it's probably unrealistic to expect undivided attention for hours on a Saturday, but it's my observation that the staff give good advice and choices. Went in there to change my camera, explained what i need it for they told me a camera to get and adapter to get so i can use my lenses, even with the adapter i cannot use my lens for its purpose anymore as im now getting star trailing at 5 seconds, spent over £1000 and now cant shoot the stars, there is no lens in a decent budget for this camera by canon for shooting the stars,We bought a camera for my partner at the same time and explained what she wanted it for (photographing animals/wildlife) only afterwards found out there is no lens over 200mm for this camera,We went in there hoping they would help but now we are around 2k down and cant enjoy our hobbies, do not trust them anymore and recommend anyone looking to start out or change cameras really do some research first so they dont screw you overJason, not sure how to reply to you so editing the review, i didnt say the camera isnt good for astrophotography, i mentioned i was told if i got that camera and an adapter it would work with my lenses, for day shots its fine and most work fine but i explained that i need it for astro and in terms of my 24mm f1.4 usmii its fine for day shots but it is now useless for astro as im getting star trailing after 5 seconds i have done research to set it up theres a lot of people talking about the same problem and even spoken to Canon, their answer is i need an RP lens at £1600 (not affordable)

I used cameraworld ltd for the first time today order my a canonR50 kit which was in stock according to the website. I got an email in the morning from DPD saying my parcel will be delivered next day.Then I get an email from DPD saying my orders have been cancelled CameraWorld Ltd didn’t even had the decency to call me about the cancelled order. I had to ring Camberworld limited to find out what was going on and was given no real explanation why my order was cancelled. So this is the first and last time I will ever use camera world Ltd. I will now take my custom to a more professional camera shop.

Almost ruined my honeymoon unfortunately. Seeing as Cameraworld were local to me, I thought I'll use them as long as they can get the camera to me in time for my honeymoon. I called 5 times before getting an answer (spread over a day), and they said yep, order next day delivery on Sunday, this will get to you on Tuesday. I was going into town anyway so I swung by the store to verbally confirm this. One staff member was a tad rude but he understood by question eventually and confirmed this will be with me Tuesday. I went home, ordered camera. Nothing happened from here, no confirmation of it being sent. I emailed the support email, no reply, called 3pm Tuesday and they said there was a delay from distribution and it will be there before end of week. Ridiculous service, and I had to order off of Amazon Canada now to arrive on my honeymoon.

Did a good part exchange on my old camera for a new one. They had to get the camera transferred from their London shop. No delays, happy with my purchase. Thank you.

Went in there knowing absolutely nothing about a camera I had been given except that it needed a lens. Received expert advice on the best kinds of lens for my camera and tried out a few to find a second hand lens in excellent condition that I absolutely love.
