St Albans School of Languages

I studied at this school for a year and I can assure you: this is a great school. Amazing teachers and excellent teaching. I started at Intermediate level and moved up two levels to the Advanced group. I particularly appreciated the diversity of the teaching. Each teacher has a different way to teach you things. Besides, this is an amazing way to meet people from all around the World. Let me tell you that I met some of my best friends thanks to this school.Thank you for everything, you made my year better!

I attended the St Albans School of Languages for 10 months, in which I not only improved my English skills and succesfully passed the CAE, I also met fellow students from all over the world.The teachers are friendly and patient. The classes are fun and educational.I had the best experience at this school and would recommend it to anyone.

Excellent English School!I have been attending the FCE course.Laurence is the most professional teacher I have ever met. Helped me a lot to be well prepared for the final exam.Calm atmosphere, creative way of teaching, coffee, tea, biscuits for free.. all these stuff can make you feel very comfortable during a lesson.Strongly recommend!Anna from Poland

After nearly two years attending English lessons in this school I must say that it is a unique school around the area to improve your language skills. Teachers are very efficient and friendly, always trying to help you. Generally, the atmosphere in the school is great, including all the students who may become very good friends as well. The school offers a wide variety of lessons either in group or one-to-one lessons where you improve all the skills, writing, listening, reading and undoubtedly speaking. I strongly recommend this school in St Albans.

I attended the upper-intermediate course for 6 months at this school.That's the best school I've been in my year of studying in the uk.The teachers are well prepared and they give entertaining lessons, easy to follow and with a lot of interaction. Some teachers are even available to meet outside the school environment, where I started stronger friendships.Every day they provide free coffee, tea and biscuits for all the students during the break.The lessons are attended by lots of au pairs and that makes it to be a really nice place for young people.

Well, I was attending this school for three years and now I am leaving as moving back to Spain. My English was a bit poor, particularly my speaking and listening and half year ago I got the advance level. The whole staff is absolutely nice and kind and really helpful. You will learn English quick for sure and also make lots of friends there. I just can say strongly recommended this language school

St Albans School of languages is fantastic. It’s located in the Center of St Albans.I’ve never attended better classes than at this school.The teachers are very helpful and give daily homework linked to the classes.In order to improve your self-confidence when you’re speaking, the number of students per classes is below 14 (usually between 5 and 9).Every day, you’re taught vocabulary and grammar.In my opinion, this school is the best way to prepare a Cambridge exam.Thanks a lot!

The atmosphere of the school is really friendly, due to the helpful headmaster and teachers. Flexibility is a unique advantage, compared with other schools. Such as you don't have to sign up to a strict course, and it's easy to find your certain level quickly... Everyone can get useful help for preparing a language exam. And finally it's more than a school, you can come across new friends here... :) Thank you Ian, and all the teachers !!!

I attended this school when I was an aupair near St. Albans and I would highly recommend it. I started in an intemediate group and after a month moved to upper intermediate. Teachers and students are great there. Usually, you won't get the same teacher every class. And as each of them teaches differently, you will learn many things (someone does more grammar, someone pronuncaition, idioms, vocabulary, tenses). It is also good opportunity to make friends though. Then you can improve your english even outside of the school. Anyway if you can't make it to morning classes, try one of their evening courses they offer. I've done the FCE one, which I can only recommend. It prepared me really well for my exam and I successfully passed. Plus I made friends I keep in contact with. Plus, if you have any question, just ask Ian. He's such a nice person and will help you anytime. :)
