Oink memorial plaque
Nothing made me feel as great as when I learned that beautiful Oink finally has a little something to remember the big guy! Everytime I am in the area I will visit this and pay my respects to Darley Abbey's greatest resident. I might even leave some oddly shaped fruit or a packet of starburst, anything for the big guy.

Oink memorial plaque
Oink was special. He was undoubtedly the best water buffalo I ever met. It’s not easy waking up every day knowing he is off in Water Buffalo heaven, but I just have to dig deep and remind myself how strong he was and that I need to carry that strength with me every day. Rest easy old pal.
