ProsFlorencia was excellent throughout from booking, to identifying my needs and tweaking the set menu options to suit our crowd. She made the process in the lead up to the event and the event itself so easy.Food was lovely and variedSpace was great (Gin Parlour) – large but with different sections meant the space always felt busyLocation was great – no issues finding it and easy to get to from a few stationsConsThere were 2 or 3 times while they were serving food that the bar was unmanned and people were standing around for drinksI had to use my phone for Spotify playlist for mussic. Would have been fine but if I'd had some advance notice I would have created playlists and hidden my phone behind the bar to stop people becoming Spotify DJ's and cancelling playing songs and playlists to suit their own music tastesEnd of the night – some of the employees felt the ending was quite abrupt and felt rushed to get out.Being called the Gin Parlour, I would have expected a better selection of gin (only had two behind the bar)Above issues could easily be rectified so I would definitely book for a business networking event again - Florencia is an asset to this pub.

I've been to this pub on a couple of occasions for functions. The bar staff were friendly enough didn't have any meals only drinks thought the prices were par for the course for central London.

An extraordinary, simple but smart pub and kitchen tucked away down Mitre street in the heart of the city. Great beer with plenty of choice for us lager louts" and Pride +Oliver's available for the "Cask boys". Wonderful service and a jolly disposition from the staff. I love the deep emerald green tiles and wood adorning the place

Great place in a great location! We booked an entire room for our school trip, had food and did a pub quiz. The food was great, the service was absolutely perfect, and a great time was had by all. I definitely recommend this place to everyone!
