I've been using Pollards now for about 4 years. Their coffee is absolutely amassing and my customers think so too! They are reasonably priced and have never let us down with any deliveries. Unfortunately we've had a very bad experience with our previous roasters who over charged us and had very rude staff. When we switched to Pollards it was refreshing to see how much better things were. As a coffee shop, we do believe in having a close relationship with our roasters. Mick is always helpful and Tracey in the office is always very friendly over the phone. We have got a good business relationship with them, that I believe will continue for years to come.

I'm writing to share my disappointment with Pollards Coffee. The consistent late deliveries, unconvincing excuses, and rude, passive-aggressive behaviour from the staff have been disappointing. Additionally, during a call, I overheard an unprofessional argument, presumably between a father and son. This incident, along with the inconsistent coffee quality, raises serious concerns about their commitment to professionalism and customer satisfaction. I caution potential clients to consider alternative options prioritising reliability and professionalism over the subpar experience I've had with Pollards Coffee.

They send me the best tea on the internet for a great price. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, my experience ordering through the website was not good. Tea came quick enough and apparently as ordered so put the sealed packets away as I already had some tea in use. Few months later opened what was ordered as Ceylon UVA, and shown on the packet as Ceylon UVA, to find it was a different larger leaf tea. Looks like Ceylon Orange Peko to me. Now too late to return. I don't expect to have to open up sealed packets to check when using a reputable tea wholesaler, negates the point of sealed tea.So that will be my first and last experience of the online shop. In future I'll stick to buying from Rachel in the Pollards shop on Eccy Road, who has never let me down in umpteen years. Shame, as online would've been handy.Edit - having seen the response from Pollards I have amended my rating due to the excellent customer service. As I have tried the tea I've been sent in error and like it, and have already blended it with another, I will not take up their offer to correct the order as I'm happy to use it. Thank you for the offer, though.

Great people Great service

I regularly buy and drink Monsoon Malabar, Puccini, Burundi and Sumatra. I am also a fan of their Italian roast and Ethiopian Mocha. If there is better coffee I haven’t found it yet. I found Pollards coffee by accident in the late eighties when walking past their shop on Cambridge Street in Sheffield when they were roasting beans, the aroma was unbelievable and I bought a basic filter jug and some Italian roast there and then, I have been a very happy customer ever since and although many things have changed since then the quality of the coffee Pollards produces hasn’t.

Buy all my coffee from Pollards. The delivery is always very swift, the bags they use are high quality. The coffee itself is excellent and completely priced

This company (Mick) somehow got our details from a previous supplier and keep pestering us. We are not interested in using your services and you shouldn’t cold call people. Very wrong!
