Rocketpwr Athletics is more than a gym. It’s space to go full of friends, family, support, helpers, competition and a group of people that push you to be better in every aspect of your life.If you’re not pushing yourself in a workout, you’re learning how to lift better in a safe and effective way. If you’re not partaking in a session you’re involved even when you’re not involved. Everyone knows where the kettle is and the is plenty of cheering on to be done!Everyone treats it as if the space is there own and help keep the space tidy and like it was on day 1.With friendly, supportive and knowledgeable coaches this really is the place to train. One of them is even a 2 time British weightlifting champ.The owners are constantly investing money back in to the gym in the form of new kit or in to qualifications to make themselves better meaning a better experience for members.It doesn’t stop there…There is dedicated barbell, gymnastics and kids classes too! Again the family environment is great for the kids as they are treated with the same respect as everyone else. It’s a highlight of my boy’s week to go to watch daddy ‘lift sticks and circles’ and he is fond of all members there.Multiple in house competitions are available for all members to participate in which are always a fun experience with people smashing through glass ceilings they thought would be possible. Alongside this there are external competitions should you want to test the waters and there will always be a member to go along and sweat alongside you.Did I mention gym socials? No? Well, they’re a thing too so you get to socialise with people outside of your PE kit. It will build your bonds even more with the members and one thing above all for me is there are no cliques. The way it should be! We even have an awards night!My only question is…..why haven’t you signed up yet?!

Friendly, easygoing coaches. More of a family feel than anything else, made me feel comfortable and at ease which improved the whole experience
