Stopped for Sunday lunch and a few drinks. Great roast, 50p pool, very friendly. Cracking old school local, not many left like this. Amazing historic building as well.

Very friendly environment, great music (DJ), pool table and well priced drinks. Got quite busy in the evening and seemed very popular with locals.

This is first time I went in here. This is situated on main road of Southgate Street. Very old pub which is nice and history of used to be used for the sailors who used to make the Riging and Sails.. Friendly and welcoming staff. Was busy and has pool table and Jukebox.. Plenty of seating inside and a garden outside.. I would go again as friendly pub.
