I have been looking for a carbon steel cook set and was extremely excited when I came across the Madog set. I absolutely love it. I use it every chance I get and am never disappointed. I highly recommend Madog carbon steel cook set. don't forget to order the hanging handle for the pot/Dutch oven pot.

So impressed with these pans! The seasoning process was an awesome learning curve which I really enjoyed. They've now travelled with me to Devon, Cornwall, and Wales - cooking up delights on the campfire, gas stove, and in the kitchen. Couldn't recommend these highly enough and can't wait to create more epic dishes with them.

The product is outstanding. Easy enough to season, and performs great! A bit heavy for backpacking, unless with a group so you can share some of the weight. I bought this for my electric fatbike adventures, and for this it just works. Kinda like Apple of outdoor cooking!

Amazing product, can't go camping without it now. The perfect way to cook up a storm Al fresco. Non stick, easy to wash up. A pure quality pot and skillet that will last a lifetime.

Received open fire set very promptly, and have seasoned according to the included instructions and used at home several times. Still waiting on the first camping trip to field test, but my initial impressions are very positive. The fit and finish is excellent, the handle is very firmly attached while in use, and the set packs down nicely in the included carry pouch.

I was looking all over for this exact cook set and was very surprised that no one else is making carbon steel cook sets like this so we were very happy to happen upon Madog. We have already used it a bunch, camping and at home, and it works great. My only gripe is that the handle, while very secure for lifting the pans when flat, can’t safely be used to tilt the pan to more than 45 degrees or so before it detaches. Now that we know this we take caution when tilting the pan and remove the handle for washing but it is a bit sketchy. Other wise very pleased.
