DO NOT COME HERE FOR LAPTOP REPAIRSBad communication all roundPhone repairs are a maybe if you need something simple based off other reviews and obviously vapes too but DO NOT go here for more complicated or laptop/PC repairsI brought in my laptop Sunday evening, was told it will usually take 2 days to diagnose but could be up to 4. Fine. About 3 days later I call just to check in and it's still being diagnosed and the guy says it will take at least 4 days. I say that's not what you told me, you said up to 4 days, not a minimum. Maybe he miscommunicated, sure, fine whatever.Next day I call and he says they are now doing the repairs?? He did not contact me at all to say that the diagnostic had finished nor to confirm if I would even want to continue to get it fixed. I ask how much it will be since and he says he's unsure as the fix is yet to be complete. How should I be expected to pay for a service without being told the price first? I persist and ask for a very rough quote and he gives me one. He also tells me it should be fixed that day or the next.The next day around 4 I call again and he says they couldn't fix it; again, I had to contact them, they have not once contacted me first without me pushing. I'm disappointed but understand and ask when I can come get my laptop. He says the next day (Saturday), any time after 10:30am.It is now Saturday. I arrive around 11:15am and he says he does not have my laptop yet and that it will be back around 1 or 2pm. Why not contact me to let me know this earlier/before I've made my way here? I decide I will wait in the shop.Around 1:10pm I ask if the person with my laptop is close and he says he's roughly 10 mins away. Sure.Coincidentally, someone else walks in to pick up a laptop (I think MacBook) while I'm waiting in the store. They agree to a price but THEN the clerk says they did this other fix as well that will cost extra. Of course, the other customer disagrees as they were never informed nor agreed to it so they will not be paying for it. After a small discussion, they agree to the original price.It is now 1:45pm. I am still in the store waiting to get my laptop back. The guy is apparently stuck in traffic which is definitely a possibility, just another frustration on top of everything else.I will update this review if anything else occurs. The only reason I give 2 stars instead of 1 is because they've not been rude exactly, just very bad at communication for a business. They seem to have decent reviews overall which is rather confusing to me but it could just be I got very unlucky this entire week.I hope this review is helpful.Edit:I got my laptop back around 2:10pm but there was a screw missing in the back cover plate that was there when I gave them the laptop so I had to wait another 5-10 mins for him to get a replacement screw.

Was told about this shop from my barber a few doors down because I needed to get my battery replaced and i’m happy he did. Decent price, friendly service and no messing about. Very professional looking shop with a range of products and services. Also very clean and tidy as well.

Excellent service, they fixed my broken screen immediately, while I waited, and at a very reasonable price. I'll definitely use these guys again if i ever need any urgent repairs. Highly recommended !

Got my phone battery replaced here. Service was great initially however I started having issues with the new battery & it ended up being worse than my old battery. It was hot, lost charge really quick, randomly switched off and in the end stopped charging. A battery app I downloaded said the battery was actually running at 17% efficiency which is extremely poor for a 'new' battery.They were great when I came in to get it checked over & said they'd order a new one however 4 days later I had no update and my phone was almost unusable due to the rubbish battery. I rang a couple of times to follow up and they still hadn't ordered the battery.I ended up having to get my battery changed elsewhere, where they told me the battery had in fact swollen and was pushing the back of my phone off.To give them credit, Matrix were good at giving me a quick refund and apologised for the inconvenience caused.I wouldn't recommend them for a battery replacement but seems OK for other things, such as vapes.

fixed my mobile screen twice there. Done in a timelt fashion at a reasonable price 20 percent cheaper than the competition i had checked in with first. Very happy with the service

Very friendly and helpful man helped me to get credit on my sim card. Was very patient, took loads of time to help me and didn't even charge. Would certainly recommend their shop. Thank you so much !!
